Grumpy and his wife and possibly the DIS Food Porn Queen are going to Disney

I told Mark for sure that I want ato do one show when we go.
We have seen Lion King X2, Blue Man Group, The Producers, Evita, the Christmas Show @ Radio City Music Hall a few times, & Stomp. I wouldn't mind seeing Mary Poppins or Wicked. My brothers college roomate used to be in Wicked.

Our Disney TA called and our paperwork is in the mail.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

:banana::banana:OH YEA!!!!!! :banana::banana:

Thank you. :)

I'm here, too! I've just been working twelve+ hour days getting our school ready for students on Monday! :scared1:

No problems...I know a lot of people have school starting (or already started).

I would LOVE to see Mary Poppins or The Producers or Lion King. My biggest thrill would be to see Phantom of the Opera in New York (we've seen it three times in Chicago and loved it every time).

Can't wait until my Disney mail arrives. :)

Okay, back to getting everyone's help/advice (thanks for all the great tips on the MNSSHP).

You'll remember that I'm "borrowing" from a few of the other threads that I'm following and post a question for each day of our Disney days. I am going to post the three things we "can't miss" and then I want you to add JUST ONE thing you think we should "not miss" at the park for that day.

Day Two, Park One:

Animal Kingdom

1) Kilimanjari Safari
2) It's Tough to be a Bug
3) Lion King

***And no mentioning Expedition Everest. Mark can't do it this year and I really DO NOT mind missing it. :)

I'm still here! :) Just had to get caught up.

So, I can't give advice on MNSSHP (we went to the one at California Adventure), but I'm hoping you'll give some pointers when you get back. Since we'll be there just a couple weeks after you! :thumbsup2

As for Animal Kingdom...hmm. Have you seen the Nemo show yet? It really is quite amazing.

Yay for your Disney mail almost being there! :woohoo:

Well I would say don't miss EE at AK, but since you already said no to that...I've been told not to miss Festival of the Lion King, so I'll suggest that to you as well, even though I haven't seen it yet! Everyone says it's amazing so I'm looking forward to it! :banana:

I will letl you know about MNSSHP when we get back; No, we haven't seen Nemo yet either...I'll put it on the list.

How could I forget Dinosaur--it's one of my favorites. I will have to decide if I want to do this one by myself (Mark won't be able to do it :sad2: ).

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: for paperwork!!!

Nemo..........

Can't wait to see the paperwork in my little hands. Another vote for Nemo, thank you.

Dinasaur!!!!!

Thanks, Rosie.

Yes, Lion King is on my list of must dos. I can't wait for the mail -- hopefully by Monday of next week it will be here. :)

I used to love Primeval Whirl with the kids...but Grumpy and I together in that ride? Not a good thing with our sizes. :rolleyes1

THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY WE'LL BE AT THE CSR, HOME SWEET HOME!

I have, not counting today, 12 days left of work; Grumpy has 14 because he has to work the weekend of the 11th & 12th for a trade show (we're both off on September 3 for his angioplasty, there is no work on Monday, the 6th, and we leave on Friday, the 17th, so no work that day either!).

I think I should start packing. :rotfl::rotfl:

And did anyone notice my post count??? I went over 20,000 this week. I think maybe I DIS too much. ;)

:rotfl: Ya think! :rotfl: Seriously, once someone's post count gets over 10,000 I don't even look anymore. It's a whole other league you're in! :worship:
:cool1: congrats for three weeks. I am down to two weeks and one day, but my ticker disappeared and is now a ? mark! :confused3

No paperwork today (like the US Post Office could get anything anywhere within a day--they can't even do it if it is only in the next town)l.

I don't know how I ever got to that many posts. I don't dare tell Grumpy. He's on me because I play Cafe World too much. :rotfl:

Everyone has been having trouble with their tickers. I cut my down from two to one so I could fit my links. :confused3

Joining in, not sure if I will get remotely caught up before you leave but thought I'd try!

Thanks for joining in...it's nice to have you here. :goodvibes

I can't believe your Disney Mail didn't come. :sad2:

Here's to hoping it shows tomorrow!!!:drinking1

I hope so. And I should be outside when the mail comes as Mark and I are cleaning out the 3-car garage because I can't stand the leaves, cobwebs, dead bugs, and the JUNK anymore -- spring cleaning in the summer...gotta love it. I hope to do Day 2, Part 2 and Day 3 later today or tonight.

Tomorrow I am going to see Edward...I need a massage so bad. :cloud9:
