We are about 170 days out from out Disney Vacation for my husbands birthday and I can't get a dinner reservation for 5 at Le Celliers for the entire week we are there!

Le Cellier ain't all that!! There are some other EQUALLY if not better restaurants...have you tried other places??

We have and love a lot of other places, but this is the resturant my husband requested for his birthday.

We just did Le Cellier for my birthday on Oct. 16th. That was the restuarant that I was dying to try. I made the ressie about 120 in advance, had no problem getting a decent time on the night we wanted. BUT, I will say that it was not as great as I had anticipated. It was good, and we will return, but there are some others that are better. But when it is your birthday, you really just want to have exactly what you just want to have! Good luck!!

That's crazy! It must be because you have a party of 5. Any chance your party could split up for one meal so you could eat there with your husband alone?

oh, no that doesn't make me feel good with a party of 6! Are you going during a holiday week or is it just the party size? What times are you looking at? I was hoping to eat there during our trip this summer. If I'm not able to get in the restaurants I want, I may skip the DDP.

Yep - they said it was because of our party size. This is the only planned meal we have with our friends - so no we can't split for this one.

Just keep trying! Don't give up. People are cancelling all the time. You still 170 days, so don't start to stress out yet. I'm sure if comes down to it, you're DH will understand.

What about a lunch ressie?!

We always do Le Cellier for lunch to avoid the hassles of the dinner time stuff. It's so much quieter than at dinner. Sometimes the latest lunch times are within an hour of the first dinner seating time. The only difference is a few things on the menu and the word "lunch" instead of "dinner".

Def keep trying for it. That's one thing people don't do when they try for a ressie. Don't just give up after the first time. Call once a day if you can, or once every couple of days. Don't give up! It'll happen!!

I called at 180 days and had to split my party of 6 into 4 and 2. They may be able to put us together once we get there but that was the only way to get the time I wanted. I think I could have tried a different time and had us all together. Good luck.

Are you on the dining plan? If so call back and try again but do not tell them you are on the dining plan. For a phone number give a cell phone. DB and DSL had to do this when the went in Aug. They also where a group of 5. When they arrived they told them they where on the dinning plan and there was not an issue. I think they only take so many on the plan a day.

Try every morning and night..I got a ressie there 45 days before we arrived and for lunch 1 week before we arrived....dont give up

For Jun 2007, I couldn't get an ADR for 6 at Le Cellier. But they could give me a table for 4 and a table for 2. When we arrived, the Le Cellier staff sat us all at the same table. Good luck.

From what I read here...(and own personal experience) people change ADR's ALL the time.....so keep trying! Try splitting up the # like someone suggested...I am going solo in Dec for spa/shopping (DH is great:))..I was fortunate enought to get invited for a dinner at Le Cellier with 12 other Disers! Still dont know how they got that ADR!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going the week of April 19th. I called at 7 am 180 days out and had to take Le Cellier on a different day for out party of 5. It is Ok as we got everything else we wanted. We have even changed a few. But I am not letting me Le Cellier go! We have eaten there before and while I could take or leave the dinners the bread and soup and salad are great!
GOOD LUCK! Keep trying
