I have had a situation come up tonight that has made me SO angry! Suffice it to say it is work related, and what was already shaping up to be a challenging week is now going to be an absolute week from hell. I am furious! WHY does crap like this have to happen 18 days before our trip? Why could I not just coast through the next 14 work days? I am so angry I am nauseated. Anybody else mad?

I am not sure how I feel about this yet but...

Last night there were search helicoppers flying over the city last night. Here let me fill you in: Sometime many months ago (March or April ), I don't know when, a felon escaped from a prison near Buffalo, NY. He's run all over the place and still haven't caught him. Well they were searching for him in a little village south of Buffalo where they thought he was (oh wait he shot a State Trooper also). Ok, so yesterday my boyfriend and I were driving around and saw an amazing amount of cops in town. I mean like 10 or so cop cars (we usually never see any and we have a lot of cops). Anyways, Search heli flies by. So it's 2 am or something I had just got home a little while before and knew the front door was wide open (my family isn't rich enough to have a/c). So I ran down stairs and locked the front door and told everyone they have to sweat to death . Anyways, they ask why and I tell them about the cops and heli. My dad was skeptical, but he went outside and rolled up his windows and locked his car.

Well didn't see many cops today (course I slept all day, not cuz I was out all night because I have heat exhaution and dehydration). But when my boyfriend and I went to our Super Walmart to buy his groceries, the search heli was out. Watched the 11 pm news and said that the search for this guy was between Chaut Co (where I live) and Catt Co (our neighbors on the E).

So I'm not sure how I feel about it, I mean I wanna catch the guy so I can get the $50k and buy me a brand new car. But that probably won't happen.

Anyways as I was saying.. I have to drive around with my windows down cuz my a/c in my car is busted cuz I hit a bird and it dent my condenser and it costs too much to fix (I don't drive that much), so I'm kinda scared to drive cuz I dunno what I'd do if the guy approached me (I wanna run him over and call the cops so I can get the $50k but I also just wanna run away so he don't kill me! ). And my car doesn't have auto locks on them, so like if I forget to hit the door lock button, they are unlocked and that gives him an advantage. I'm just paranoid in the first place, especially since my bf lives in a bad neighborhood anyways.

But there's my vent! I hope you are entertained!

I'm not angry, just sad, here my mini vent....

My house was flooded (sp?) and seriously damage a couple weeks ago, and it was a huge mess, carpet and hardwood floors, furniture etc.

Then I went to visit my Mom and my DH's wallet was stolen with about $500 dollars in cash that we didn't deposit on time.
We got back Friday and apparently it was a really bad thunderstorm and my computer and my big TV were damage, we had the protection thing for the computer but I didn't work.
Also some exchanges were lost and we re send them, but DH didn't know to send them Priority, (he doesn't ever mail anything) and I got in trouble for sending them parcel, oh well, what can I do right?

I think people who overstay their welcome tend to be the same sort people who take advantage of you and think it is perfectly OK, so I agree! Dear Abby says people can't take advantage of you without your permission, and while she is probably right about that in general, there are some situations that you just can't think fast enough on your feet to avoid them. Then you end up MAD! Which would be why I am still wide awake at 12:37 when I know tomorrow is going to be one of the worst days I have had in years.

Nothing MAJOR...I am just soooooooo sick of my kids (7 & 11) fighting ALL THE TIME!!! My oldest is an asperger's kid so all this unstructured time can be tough for him and when he is bored he takes it out on me and dd. I am so tired of his angry outbursts - he has already broken the frame around his bedroom door from slamming it so many times. I had planned to do a lot with them this summer, but here it is another day, just after 8:30 a.m. and he has already gotten everyone in an uproar...argh! And I need to get him calmed down and out to his math tutor in a short bit.

Hugs to you! Summer always sounds so good in theory. Sometimes in practice it is not so great! Perhaps you should invite your DS11 to post here with the rest of us ANGRY folks! It sounds like he can get quite a rage on! (I know it isn't something to make light of. I really do hope you guys are able to enjoy some of the things you had planned to do over the summer.) Hang in there! Maybe, just maybe, we will all survive this day!

I am sick of nasty hateful little high school girls that take glee in being as nasty and hurtful as they can be. I hate that I can't do anything for my DD. I know that she has to deal with this herself, but it hurts to see it happening.

I have been there before (more in middle school than in high school). But there was this one group of girls that were friends... man they were bad apples... and some how happened to be the most popular (probably just because they drove BMWs or something). Anyways, these girls were so bad they would talk so much junk about each. (If it makes you feel any better these girls all ended up doing crazy drugs like oxies, coke, crack, etc.) The worse part is that the schools don't do anything about it. And this stuff is way worse than getting into a physical fight! I think they should start suspending these girls!

The only thing I can think that you can do is.. file police reports. This is what my dad did when I was being harassed in middle school.

I'll give you a brief overview of what happened to me... Harassed in middle school, turned anorexic, lost a lot of weight, met new popular kids from other schools once I got to high school, then became popular (with these other kids, not the kids I went to middle school, they still hated me for some reason ).

All I'm trying to say is that the harassee does suffer A LOT. People are like, why don't you just ignore it. It's not that easy when it's every day constantly for 6 hours a day. I'm sure you know.

i know she may not understand- but dont you wish you can just get her to understand that "those" girls are going to end up to be nothing when they get older and your duaghter will be the one that OUTSHINES them!

not really a vent- but i am just @!%'ING OVERWHELMED TODAY!

supervisor is on vacation- i have to do payroll- everyones timecard has SOME KIND OF SCRIBBLY NOTE ON IT- that i cant read- so they are just getting pd for what i can figure out! my desk is a mess- i have so many checks to post- but i cant do that because i am running a report to FIX ALL THE MISTAKES that everyone did over a 2 year period- i woke up late- my house is a mess- i need to do wash

then WHY an i on the boards!?
