Grrr... Couldnt make ADRs :(

lol, same as me. Waiting for Fantasmic. :drive:

I just got it for the 17th but the latest I could get was 3:15. Also, give them the e-mail associated with the MDE account. They asked for the e-mail associated with my credit card and I had trouble linking at first.
 
Also at 1 hour 20 minutes holding.....why couldn't the website or app just work this morning?!!! Ugh!!!
 
If you're at your 180 day mark, I find it hard to believe that 'Ohana filled up that fast.

Try calling in 30 minutes, I bet you get in. Maybe it's just the site that's giving you trouble, not the actual bookings.

Believe it. My 180 mark opened yesterday. I could see the times for Ohana on the screen for 5:15 or 6:00 but the website wouldn't work. When I finally got through to someone on the phone the only time left was 8:25.
 

I could not get online to work on either the computer or the ipad and called in right at 7:00 EST. I got right through with no wait...I got everything I wanted except BOG which I new probably would not happen.
 
Just got off the phone. Got all that I wanted (had to change some things around and didn't get 'perfect' times but I am still happy. Never thought I'd get BOG but I did. Almost didn't get O'Hana but my DD would have died had we not gone there so I had to take a later than normal one. The only thing I couldn't get was HDD as the agent is telling me it's not loaded into their system yet. Looking for 11/25. She said to try back ??????????? Well, she didn't know when I should try back lol.
 
Sorry to hear everyone is having issue, but kinda glad its not just me....I still have yet to make one reservations and I am steadily watching the times go away that will work for us:confused3
 
This is what happened to me on Sunday. Very frustrating. Still not working today. I called and got the places I wanted, but not the times. All the restaurants are filling up at incredible rates due to free dining.
 
Saturday was my 180 day and I too had issues online... here's what I experienced/learned.

Online several times after midnight/before 7am and could not make reservations due to no availability and/or system acting wonky

You MUST log in to your MDE before trying to make your 180+10 ADR's or it will not let you pick a date on the calender after your check in date...wish the system prompted that because it was driving me crazy!

Called at 7:10am - extensive wait time - finally hung up after nearly an hour and figured I'd try later on when I had time to concentrate on it instead of while in the car.

Later that afternoon I logged in online again and was able to make ALL my ADR's with the exception of Crystal Palace before MK opens on our 1st park day and BOG - for 11 days I didn't think 2 ADR's were an issue.

Since Saturday I have repeatedly looked for those 2 ADR's (online only) as my computer is pretty much on 24/7 and it takes only a couple minutes to check and got Crystal Palace last night (so someone canceled and I was able to get it :))

I'm figuring on continuing to try to get BOG but from the reviews I've read and the "how to score" a BOG reservation, we'll just do QS there if we don't get the TS reservation. We're going with the FD (again) and I'm not going to let ADR's ruin the trip... if we get them great, but we'll figure out somewhere to eat if not.

If you make an ADR but it was not for the "ideal" time... keep checking availabiliy online for that ADR, IF the time you really want becomes available, click and reserve the new reservation. The system prompted me that there was another reservation for that day/time frame and did I want to change my reservation. It will hold your original reservation until you confirm the new one. This way you can flex your reservations w/o losing 1 first.

Lastly, a CM told me that the best opportunity to get those hard to get ADR's is to try at your 45 day mark as that is when the final payment is due for trips and many people end up cancelling their trips when they realize they really couldn't afford it.
 
Crazy Disney website! I logged in right at 6 am Orlando time this morning. I was using a laptop, a desktop, and an Ipad. On the desktop and laptop, I could see the availability for all my days, but couldn't book anything past the first day. On the Ipad, I couldn't even see anything past my first day even though I was logged into MDE.

I called in right at 7 and fortunately was able to get just about everything I wanted. Couldn't get Tomorrowland Dessert Party even though I saw it available at 6 am. I did get BOG on our last day.

Now, I am at work - with the same laptop that I was using earlier this morning - and I can only see dining availability through the first day! Crazy.

When I mentioned the issues to the CM I spoke with this morning, she knew nothing about any problems and said it must have just been because they were updating their system! Oh yeah, well then why now that it is much later in the day, can I still not make or change any reservations!!!!
 
After a 2 hour and 5 minute phone call, I got almost everything I wanted. Was not surprised that BOG wasn't available. Had to rearrange a couple of things but overall pretty happy. Got an early Crystal Palace and an 8 pm O'Hana. Those were my two main goals. My kids may be disappointed there wasn't a Chef Mickey's that suited my times....everything was late. Still have to add an ADR somewhere because I'm coming up short one. That will definitely be another day...I'm exhausted. Lol!
 
Fantasmic has been cancelled for 11/19, hence no dining packages available.


Not sure if it's correct but when I called this morning the CM told me that Fantasmic was available with lunch. I booked a late lunch at Mama Melrose and it says Mama Melroses Lunch Fantasmic so I'm hoping it's not cancelled.

I was able to get all my reservations online except Fantasmic and settled for lunch to get this one.
 
I was able to get most things I wanted but the website was glitchy this morning. The stupid date picker kept defaulting back to current day and every other time i tried to book it would say that search was unavailable right now so it took me about an hour to book everything online. I accidentally made two reservations for today. Spent 30 minutes on hold to get them cancelled and sadly missed out on an early crystal palace slot that I know was available when I booked but then I ended up accidentally booking for today and now they are all gone.

Thankfully they cancelled without penalty, but now I have to keep trying for CP and I could have been done *whine*
 
I called this morning and was able to get in on Nov 20 for 8pm. So try calling. I stayed on hold for 2 hours so be prepared.
 
Oh Yay!! I was just able to snag an 11/16 8:30 at CP via the website. I would have liked earlier but worst case I'll just show up early.

While refreshing trying to get that I've also seen early reservations popping up at CRT a couple of times. Pays to keep checking I guess.

Does this mean you agree that there is no availability for the dinner Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose on 11/19? We were planning on booking this and our 180 + 10 opens up tomorrow - may need to revise our dining schedule so we're ready to book tomorrow at 6am.

Sorry to quote myself but - get this - I just called back in around noon to see if I could get the HDD for 11/25. It was still showing no availabality. I asked if that meant it was sold out or if it was still 'not loaded' as the original agent had mentioned. The 2nd agent said that it was just not loaded yet. Having been a Disney dining rep as my job in the past, I thought this to be very odd. I asked if she could just look into it further. Well, it turns out that the 20th of November is the last show. She did not say if there was a refurb or if it is down due to Thanksgiving or what but I was so happy that I pushed her on this because then I was able to get the 11/15. They were both great agents from today, I just think they didn't look all the way into why no reservations were showing...

If you check the operating schedule for HS on 11/19 there is no Fantasmic! Showing scheduled as it was cancelled as of the 5/9 operating schedule update. I am not sure how you could have a Fantasmic! dining package on a day when there is no Fantasmic! You might want to verify that.
