Grr! So frustrated trying to make reservations.

I just need to vent a minute. I keep getting the "sorry for the paws" error message when trying to book on my computer. My MDE app is only allowing me to book to the 180 day mark and not my 180+10. So frustrating. I'll have to call at 7, but the kids will be up by then, and this is supposed to be a surprise!
 
Last year November was a hellacious month for adrs. Looks like this year is starting the same way sadly
 
I was also trying to book CRT and HAD several reservations, but there was some sort of glitch and the system would say it needed an advance payment, but wouldn't total it up saying it was $0 then couldn't go through (this was on a computer). And now all of them are gone.

That is a huge bummer! I'm sorry you are having issues, too.
 
Their whole system is crap! Every year I have trouble, but nothing like today. It keeps showing that there is nothing available for my entire week! That can't be right.

My thoughts EXACTLY! I started at 5 a.m. on the dot and NOTHING:( Here's hoping the phone line wait doesn't take me over 4 hours like the FD promo drop date did. Can't catch a break! :)
 
Hey guys! I finally got through to a CM and the system is down. Hoping to be back up this morning.
 
I am trying to book for 9 people, yay me! LOL

Anyway, I tried at 6am ET online; no go. Called at 7am ET; told 30 minute call wait and that was getting in at exactly 7:01am. I finally got through to person and was told they are doing "enhancements" ; which is code for system being down. I have called many times since then now 2 hrs later almost 9am ET and it's still down.

In some ways I'm glad as that means that not every single place is already booked and it's just an error.

We get in on the 20th of November and with the +10 I was hoping to get all my ADRs done today at 180.

I am trying to make a few for 9 people as well. I am still not showing we are able to make reservations at 9:35am. I hope the enhancement is finished soon! lol!

I just called again (9:45am ET) and the poor CR just said "sorry, it's not working..." You could tell she was past the phrase of "magical enhancements" and just tired of it not working.

I am sure they are wishing it was working too as I can guarantee people are very rude to them. The truth is, while frustrating, I don't blame the CRs at all. It's obviously not their fault. I don't even really blame IT as it's got to be a HUGE amount of traffic hitting the website and trying to get into their reservation system. But, I guess if Kayak or Travelocity, etc can do it, they can too.

Honestly, I do blame the IT department. Any large business whole be able to have an issue fixed well quickly and adequately. My husband works in IT, and I know what a crisis situation is like. I find 5 hours of down time unacceptable. They have many issues with their website, app, etc. by now you would think they would know when the large traffic times are going to be tomtheir system and they would come up with a more efficient way of handling it.
 
I'm glad to see that others are having issues as well. That sounded mean; I'm not really happy that you are having problems! Just glad it's not me. I am new to this and thought I was doing something horribly wrong!

Oh, I agree something is down. But seeing as they had issues yesterday, and now today again, it is unacceptable. No large corporation would tolerate their whole system being down for over 5 hours.
