Growing up Gotti- Anybody see it last night?

A new reality series on A & E featuring Victoria Gotti and her 3 sons. I thought it was pretty wild, her sons came off as total spoiled brats and she is very abrasive.

The house is a HUGE Multi Million dollar home on Long Island.

I liked it...I can't believe they let the pool..etc get in such bad condition...the plumber was great!

I caught the very end of one episode, where she was getting out of a limo after a really bad date. Then I watched the whole next one. Were there just the two episodes?

She sure does have some mooks for kids, hey? That's not surprising, I guess.

I liked it enough to give it another chance.

The plumber was awesome! When she mentions her brother John Jr. to the plumber he sure clammed up! The pool was in a horrible state. Victoria is a tough lady. Her ex husband who is serving time for racketeering and tax evasion seems to have a lot of cash flow to buy expensive stuff for the sons.

Her brother Peter who appeared on the show, is he not in the family business, but a normal guy?

It beats the Amish in the City show- cmon' Amish girls that wear bikinis! No way.

We kept laughing at the scene where the guy kept calling her fat. He was just digging deeper and deeper...too funny.

I kind of liked it. It's a trainwreck for sure.

Victoria Gotti sure seems like a tough lady that speaks her mind - wouldn't want to cross her!

Her boys are total brats and I couldn't understand anything they were saying half the time betweent he accents and all the yelling.

Loved how she kept brining up her brothers death. The rest of the story she didn't mention is that the neighbor that hit the brother and killed him disappeared a week or two later never to be seen again.


I doubt I'll keep watching though, it's not all that interesting.

To me it was a perfect example of just because you have money doesn't mean you have class.

Her "date" was right when he said she could be beautiful if she was softer but she took it as such an insult.

That startled me, too. I've watched enough mob shows on A&E to know the whole story, and it was kind of creepy to hear her refer to it that way.

Okay. So here is my question. What is up with those boys' hairdos? Are there some new styles that I am unaware of? Remember those troll dolls -- when you'd get their hair to stick up into a point at the top?

DH and I watched it . . .DH was wondering why Carmine thought his hair looked good? DH referred to him as a Heat Miser look-a-like . . .

You can see that the boys are pretty much spoiled and get away with things, but I can imagine how hard it is to raise 3 boys all by yourself.

The show was o.k. but probably not a favorite of mine . . .

I tried to watch the show and thought it was horrible. I wonder if the blind date is till an able bodied person.

I thought her hair extensions looked totally awful! How in God's name could she let those boys talk to her like that? I sure would've been arrested for beating the **** out of them. They wouldn't have a tooth left in their mouth!! DH thought she looked like she belonged on "Planet of the Apes". She really looked beat up!! She says her dad wasn't part of the Mob and did no wrong? Come on...look at her house on 5 acres! Regular working class people could not afford that. Daddy set her up well, except for the nasty pool!! I though the show was awful.

Did you notice she likes to wear white clothing much of the time? I wondered how she was able to keep the house with her ex husband in prison for racketeering and tax invasion. Maybe Dad did set it up for her.

The boys hair does look awful!

Well, with her ex in prison how could he buy the bratty kid a camo golf cart? I think it is all Daddy's dough! He set her up well. Except she needs some cosmetic surgery on her apey looking face!!!
