www.kdka.com is broadcasting live from Gobblers Knob. If you want to watch it live.

Another one of the things I miss from living in Pittsburgh.

Yuck!!!! Good thing I have two Disney trips to look forward to.

Really? Only six? That would be great! Unfortunately here in NWPA I think we are in for at least 8-10! I am so tired of snow!

I miss the times when they weren't as strict about open container laws (not to mention...at the time...underage drinking) @ The Knob. Some very cold, fun nights while I was in college were spent waiting for them to pull the rat out of his tree.

It's amazing that on a cloudy day he still sees his shadow. Check out today's photo-------

Some of the shots on TV the groundhog looks terrrified, then some of the others when he is in the handlers arms looks very contented.

Their is something so wrong with that picture, I feel bad for that terrified animal.:sad2:

I was thinking the very same thing...I just couldn't phrase it cleanly enough for the boards. Something very off-putting by the groundhog keeper's grin.

Yeah---the guy looks demented. The poor groundhog is sitting all warm and cozy sleeping away in his burrow when this crazed guy yanks him out in front of thousands of screaming people. He should have taken a chunk out of his arm.
