Grossest Thing You've Seen at the Parks

UNFORTUNATELY seeing a floating "chocolate" in the resort pool at POR several weeks ago. And no it wasn't a candy bar, just a child whose parents didn't use the rubber swim diaper and decided the pool would be a fine place to make a bowel movement! YUCK!!

Of course it closed the pool down until they could filter it. VERY GROSS INDEED!!!

I think there was a "log jam" in the Hippy DIppy a couple of weeks ago -pool was closed when it should have been occupied and life guards were doing a thorough cleaning...ick.

I posted this to another thread, but clearly it fits best here!

This thread reminded me of something I saw in one of the parks (I think it was the Magic Kingdom) over a decade ago.
I just happened to be sitting down for a quick rest, not really paying much attention to anything, and I saw a man fish a half-eaten hot dog out of a trash bin. He stood with his back to the bin and looked around for an opportune time when no one was looking (sorry buddy!) and then dove in for it! Someone must have deposited it there in front of him and tempted his tastebuds..... nothing like a bit of garbage to make a Disney day that much more special! :rolleyes1
Here's the best part, though..... he eats the dog from the uneaten end, and carefully bites off his last piece so as not to eat the previously bitten end! It's important to practice good hygiene, I suppose. Kudos to you, pal. :thumbsup2
I can imagine the complaint to Disney, though..... your restaurants gave me food poisoning!!!!! :rotfl:

I'm sorry I have nothing to add except that I can't believe how hard I'm laughing at this and that I've read all 21 pages. I'm in tears. I've never been "lucky" enough to witness any of this grossness, but maybe after our trip in December I'll have something equally disgusting to report.

I do, however, love the phrase "baby bidet". Bit of genius there, I'll be remembering that one forever, and I now have something more concrete to answer my children with when they ask (complain?) why I never let them drink from the drinking fountain.

I just read this entire thread and O....M....G, I mean some stories unfortunately it sounded as if the person being described was quite ill, even possibly a seizure victim in the first few pages. (I'm a mom of an epileptic who seizes like PP described as spittle hanging from the mouth and gagging). But the ones that really make me sick are the diaper ones. What is wrong with people??? My DS has worn a diaper for 17 years. That means I've been changing em for 17 years. ;) I'd never consider any of these tactics. :confused3 They are just plain dangerous healthwise. Gross! WDW is awesome at providing areas to change people of all sizes. Why not use them? Don't you just want to scream "PEOPLE...a little common sense!"???:headache: And Dateline wonders why the entire world now testes positive for ecoli exposure...:scared:

People are starving in (you name the country, Biafra?) and someone wasted half of a perfectly good hot dog.

Hi everyone! Just arrived back in the UK today after 2 wonderful weeks at Disney,, well I have another diaper story for you all,,, A couple of nights ago, we went to fort wilderness to watch the campfire and movie and there was a family sat on the next bench to us,,, well the mother decides to change the baby right there on the bench in front of everyone, the dad was sat right beside the baby munching away on a hotdog
How unbelievable some people are,, I mean everyone was sat around this woman eating hotdogs and marshmallows and she does that,, the comfort station was right nearby too!!!
So if you are the blonde mother who was watching finding Nemo a couple of nights ago.... SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

That happened to us too, Aug 21 or 22--gross but the kids were giggling about hte "Hippy Dippy pool" becoming the "Poopy Doopy pool"

Last week one morning my DD was the first one down the slide at POFQ. I was walking around to the stpes with my 2 yo so we could go in the pool. I see my DS standing on line and kids saying ewww. He comes down and they close the slide. There was a pile of poop at the top of the slide. It was 10 in the morning and it didn't make sense how it got there. My kids thought it was alligator poop. A man came a few minutes later, cleaned it up and the kids were sliding again. Thankfully that's the only poop encounter we've had at WDW.

I had totally forgotten about this until now. I didn't see it, but my mom did.

I was riding TOT in the morning at MGM, and my mom was waiting for me somewhere near the entrance where a bunch of strollers were. Apparently this family came walking up from wherever they had been with their little girl, and she ran straight over to her stroller. From where she sat, my mom could clearly see a TON of lovebugs coating the seat of the stroller, but no one in the family seemed to have noticed. The little girl plopped down on the bugs, not noticing anything. UNGH. :scared:

Sort of related, I was at MK one day and I had just gotten a Dole Whip. As I was reaching with my spoon to get that first delicious bite... a lovebug landed on it. Right where I was going to eat. At least it was one of the singular ones, instead of the mated pairs...

why the heck would you "bump" a 5-month old thread? :confused3 You were just at WDW this month. You could at least add a funny story from your last trip.

Moldy-oldy thread bumps. One of my major pet peeves.

ETA: I'm unsubscribing, so I don't have to have to see this on my UserCP.

A few years back we were in Playhouse Disney waiting for it to start, we took our seats on that nice hard floor and noticed a few "spots" being covered by extra carpet remnants and they were actually letting people in to sit on them ... it took one curious infant to pull up the rug and all you could smell was that hordid smell of fresh puke! And the kicker was it was not cleaned up they just covered it with the carpet remnant, when the family complained they were told they could sit farther back or stand ... we squeezed as far away as possible, then actually decided to move to the other side of the theater when we saw them allowing another poor unsuspecting family walk in and sit right down on top of it! It was NASTY:eek:

what????????????

because i wasn't able to check the dis for 6 months. i don't have a "gross story" to add and i don't think everyone on the dis has one, i think this is a funny thread. I didn't know it was a rule to post a story to enjoy a thread

i really don't get what's the problem :confused3

Well I have 2 Gross Moments.
First one was a father licking melted ice cream off of his baby's face. I thought that was totally obscene.
Second was a lady(I use that term loosely) sitting on the curb across from me on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom........in a dress......with the dress up to her knees......so that you got a really good view of......well you can just imagine.....for all the world to see.
