We have no groom, so no groom's cake. But our wedding date is also my brother and father's birthday, and my dad is allergic to chocolate (the saddest fate ever)
I think this is one of those things where it depends on your planner - my planner was happy to add a cake to my Wishes Dessert Party - she told me to just decide what I want - if I were you Cam I would push a little bit!I was also interested in doing a groom's cake at the Wishes! dessert party we are doing the night before our VR at the Grand Floridian. I was under the impression that I am limited to the GF dessert party menu and that I can't add a cake or buy one somewhere else to serve there. Does anyone know one way or another?

this was mine it was a quarter sheet cake redvelvet, w/cream cheese frosting
i had mine made at publix grocery store just outside diney main gate, it was $36.00 we had 22 people and it fed all of them pretty good size piece, no leftovers though!
i have the number to that publix if your interested fr the wedding pavillion it took 10minutes to drive there!
My DF wants a Giants Football cake. Since the Giants won the Superbowl he wants to decorate the ADH with Giants stuff (I don't think so) - but I thought a cake would be a good idea. Maybe I'll have it for the reception. My DF's dad lives in Orlando so we could just pick one up at the supermaket by his house. We also have a few Mets seasons tickets so I told him what if the Mets win the World Series, then we will have to have some Mets stuff.

Hey there can you give me that number. I might do that because my planner said $75 delivery charge from the GF bakery. She hasnt even given me a qute on the cake. I thought that was crazy. I know publix makes great cakes.
