Grocery Store or Supermarket

Around here we call it what it is. Interstate 5, Highway 50.
Now this is in Northern California. In southern California they say "the 5" or "the 50", and they are also big on the secondary names for numbers freeways, "The Harbor Freeway" , "The San Diego Freeway".

To the OP's original question........pretty much equally either the specific store name, the grocery store, or the supermarket.

I pretty much say I-5. If I'm not mentioning the number, I might just say I'm taking the freeway.

I like how they mention the cities in LA. I don't have to look at a map. I can take the Santa Monica and know it's going to take me west, Pasadena to go east, SD to go south etc...convienient for me

I either say store or grocery store and I grab a cart or basket.
