Grocery Stop in a Taxi?

Has anybody requested a grocery store stop in a taxi from SNA to a Harbor hotel? It would likely be a 10 min stop, just to get a few things. Wondering what the extra cost would be?

We stopped once on the way from a DCL cruise to the GCH. It was about an extra $10 give or take for my DH to run in for a few things. Taxis will gladly stop where you need, they just leave the meter running

You can have your groceries delivered to your hotel for free from Vons and not worry about the meter.

Yep! We've done that too and it works great. The time we stopped (that I mentioned above) was for last minute things that we didn't think about until on the road.

Vons is great though, very easy !!
