The total for
Walmart is 27.65. I, not being very domesticated, thought the big jugs of milk were 1/2 gals and doubled the price to make a gallon figure. Milk a gallon was $2.44 for a brand name.
The total for Garden Grocer is 38.59 because I gave them the price of Bud at the Walmart for comparison purposes. With the $10.00 charge for delivery, total 48.59, the difference in those two stores is $20.94.
The (lower than my estimate, thanks for checking the beer price) total for Garden Grocer is $48.59 ($38.59 + $10 delivery).
The corrected total for WalMart, based on the topic and conversation of this thread, is $147.65 ($27.65 + $100 + $20 "mandatory tip").

What about the uncontrolled, disorganized and unruly crowds around the luggage carousels? I have never seen that. Are you talking about Orlando International Airport or some airport in another country. I love people who try to use exaggeration to make a point.
Standard airport behavior (see CarolA's response). Do you spend much time at MCO luggage carousels? I've been a foot away from the carousel and people squeeze in front of me constantly, never mind that nothing's even started moving yet.

You are so full of it. Sometimes it is really hard to be nice when I read statements that are so incorrect. How many times have you landed Orlando in your lifetime? It is true that the carousels are crowded during most days. We land about 30 million passengers per year. Yes, the second floor is crowded a lot but the actions you talk about are positively not there. I think only the most extreme of our passengers would want to listen to you, because you make absolutely no sense.
I've never traveled with Carol OR Diane - we don't even know each other - yet my experiences are similar. As I asked, how many times have YOU waited for luggage the carousels at MCO?

The bad news at MCO is that the primarily tourist clientele at MCO tends to have more luggage and less experience with air travel than at typical airports, so baggage claim at Orlando tends to be more hectic than at airports that primarily serve business travelers.
How about more 'middle' ground? I fly to Las Vegas about as often as I do to Orlando. Aside from conventions, Las Vegas, too, is primarily a tourist destination - yet I NEVER see the kind of behavior and pushiness in the LAS luggage area that I do in Orlando.

Edd,
I agree that you have not promoted a "particular" towncar, but from the tone of your posts it's pretty apparent that you think a towncar is the way to go..
.
And I agree with Carol. Your first posts on the DisBoards referred to how UNsafe the DME buses are for small children, who can't use car seats, in comparison to how safe town cars are for the same trip. At the same time, you had NO issues with children riding unbelted/uncarseated on the Disney onsite buses (and because no answers were ever given when this POV was questioned, readers could only infer that the park bus transportation is not an issue because town cars and taxis can't/don't provide THIS service).

I didn't think it was fair for Carol to add on a $120 towncar charge to your Wal Mart prices. Guests who want groceries can rent a car at WDW for a day or can use a towncar one way and still get a grocery stop.
That wasn't Carol, it was me - and I did it specifically because the grocery price issue was raised in the "Magical Exprees or Town Car Service?" thread:

There is no sense in glorifying the DME and demonizing the alternate forms of transportation, taxi, town cars, vans, SUV's. limousines and rental cars.
Jut as there's no sense in demonizing the DME while glorifying the many other transportation alternatives - including Lynx.
