Grocery Question

Not a grocery store question, and this is probably off-topic, but: how is the quality of produce in Florida now. We are leaving on Saturday, and as I sat reading the message boards eating a peach that tasted like cardboard, I wondered "Do the experts at the DIS know if the fruit is good in Florida now?"

As with any produce, it depends on the season. Apples are not the best right now, but strawberries are.

A lot of the fruit I see in Publix comes from Chile anyway.
