Does anyone know of a service that will take a grocery order via the Web and delivery right to the fridge and cupbords at the BVC?

Other than Disney's service, I don't, but I did read that there is a grocery store that you can fax your order to and they will have it packaged and ready for you to pick up. I'm sorry, I can't remember where I read this or what the grocery service is. Maybe someone knows. I would think there would be other services that would deliver. I also think you can order online through NetGrocer and have their service deliver to your villa.

The grocery service through disney is it regular prices or do you have to pay a fee? I'm having nightmares of ordering bread, lunchmeat, and pasta and having a $300 bill.....

It's not that bad but it's 7/11 type options and prices. If your using a limo service, they will normally include a 30 min grocery stop as part of the price. If you have a rental car, just pick up what you need.

On our trip to the Polynesian in August I used NetGrocer. I really only wanted water and juice boxes. I ordered it about a week before we were to arrive and it was there waiting for us upon arrival. It was quite easy.

I am definitly trying to avoid detouring on the way to the hotel. I was hoping there would be a service that would deliver the goods directly to the room.

We always buy at the resort store. Yes t's more expensive but when it comes to convenience and time wasted on vacation I'll spend the money. . I still pack some stuff, small things like canned tuna and chicken, coffee, maybe cookies or crackers, and one of those soft coolers and a frozen gel pack; stuffed with ham and cheese, bologna, small containers with mayo and mustard. We buy half and half, milk, oj, soda, bread, fresh fruit, more snacks and whatever else right at the store. I may spend $20.00 more for a week long trip on the items than at home.

The grocery list is available on the dvc member site> Some items are priced okay and some are rather high. You can fax the order a day or so ahead and they will deliver to the room. I think it is just the cost of whatever you order. We always shop off site so only know about it from reading the guidbook and the looking a t the member site.
