Grocery near DL?

We'll be going to DL next week, flying into LAX and will have a car. We will need some groceries that day because my son takes meds in applesauce (and I am not about to put applesauce in the suitcase...my luck, it will break!) Any suggestions for a store near DL?

I know that on the corner of Katella and Harbor there is an awesome 7-11. They're like a mini grocery store and would have applesauce. Driving in from LAX, you might should be able to spot a grocery store. In LA, there's Vons, Ralphs, Albertsons or even Target. I think there is an Albertsons on Katella, north of DL, but am not positive. But the 7-11 would probably have it. There's also a liquor/mini-mart on Harbor on teh other side of 7-11. They have cereals and some food. They might have it as well.

Since you have a car i would say go to the Food 4 Less on Katella/Eculid its a few blocks from DL. Its cheap and its open 24 hours.

There's also a Target on Harbor/Chapman which is a little farther drive.

Not sure which fwy you are taking from LAX but if you come down 5 theres a Walmart right off 5 at the Euclid exit. Its a couple of exits b4 you reach DL.

We're thinking about having some things delivered from Vons. Anyone have experience with that?

We just had groceries delivered to the DLH. We had to be there to sign for them. We had a 2 hour window but they were an hour late. The guy did call and tell me he'd be late though. Dh took DS to the park and my DD's and I went to the pool. It worked very well and was great to have things to bring to the parks. We bought water, snacks, and breakfast items.

yeah,it's kind of a 'long' walk,but no more than you would walkin around DL.
