Grocery Delivery to AKV

Ok, I know there is a lot of talk about groceries being delivered but I've not been able to find my answers. (the search ability on the dis isn't very good, IMO).

Ok my question:

Our flight arrives at 1:30 and we are taking ME.

I have lots of questions:
When should I schedule deliver? (I'm assuming it will arrive on time).
I've read that they can deliver the goods to bell services but how does this work?
Will they only take dry goods?
Or do they have a frig?
Will they go ahead and deliver to our room if we have not checked in yet?
Who do we TIP?
What if it comes after we checked in but we are out? Do we have to wait around for them to deliver?
Has anyone done this at the AKV yet?

I'm sure I'll think of more....

Outside grocery services will be kept by Bell Services if you are not yet in your room to receive them. You can call Bell Services to deliver them once you are in the room. They will keep the cold items in a fridge.

If you order the groceries from the DVC resort, then they will deliver them to the room and put the cold items away if you are not in there.

I believe the tip/service charge is added to the bill ahead of time. Someone can correct me here if otherwise...

Not sure of any other services, however, wegoshop works this way. You can schedule a delivery at a specific time and Marge will meet you/come to your room. If you are not going to be at the resort you can schedule a Paid out with the front desk. This authorizes the hotel to pay Marge, and than they charge your room the amount. She does charge a delivery fee of 17+ dollars depending your grocery order. This doesn't include TIP. If you do a paid out, she adds on the tip. We have used her several times and have always been pleased. Hope this helps. Have fun
