Mskayjay~That is awesome about your kitchen!!! Way to go. We need to remodel our kitchen. We just bought this house last April, the kitchen is new (new cabinets, appliances & countertops) but it is not layed out effiently, it's a bit too small, not enough counterspace and well, just not deisgned the way I would do it. However, because everything is new we don't feel like we should change it "just because". So, we just deal. I'm so happy for you and your new space though. So, whats next???? Heehee. I always have something else on the list to do. Our laundry room is the basement, it is unfinished, and so that is my top priority, finish the laundry room. Was hoping to get that done this winter....but, we have not.

I received my envelope last Saturday and I mailed mine out on Monday to Aleisa.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, but work has been busy and DH got laid off a few weeks ago, so we are adjusting to a new schedule and trying to get all of DH's stuff done for the Displaced Worker Program from his layoff.

It's finally warming up a bit (at least for the next few days). It's a tropical heat wave at 32!

Celebrate with me!!!!!!!!

It has taken a *grand total* of 9 months.....yes, long enough to have a baby....and I finally have a fully functioning kitchen all in one room!!!!!!!!!!

Lowe's delivered my refrigerator today and installed it and that is the final piece other than art work and prettying touches. Unreal.....the budget is so far gone it may as well not have existed, the timeline obviously shot to hell, and no, it does not look like I thought it would! lol It is very very nice but it seems so odd to see a fridge in there and my family room looks so weird without oneback there! roflmbo!!!!! I have to say a huge kudos to Lowes. We have had so many problems with products and things arriving damaged, etc and as their way of saying I'm sorry they knocked the price down on my fridge to a point of almost giving it to us free. They treated us sooooo much better than the local hardware own by a local family. so much for "support your local businesses". Phooey on that next time!

Anyways, I am because it is all over except for the bill paying!

Woo Hoo!!! Enjoy your finished kitchen! What are you making all of us for dinner??

I do have a question? I took out all coupons with a 2/14 expiration date, as the envie might not arrive to Englishrose47 until next Wednesday or later. And I left in the envie the ones expiring 2/28. Is that okay?

You littal Brit you. You know what's funny, you've been on the train for about as long as anyone can be, and it wasn't until a few months back you mentioned something about your family in England or something like that. Then we got on the conversation of sausage rolls (remember), and after that I finally thought....Oh, I get it...duhhh, ENGLISHrose. Seriously, it was after I found out you were from England, it just didn't dawn on me.

I hope it helps anyone else who goes through the same thing...
I never dreamed(or had nightmares about )being widowed in my30s.
There is the possibility of a new life/new love....
it took me over 3 years to get to the point of even thinking about sharing my life with someone else.
I worked on my grief, did a lot of reading, praying, joined a support group & went to seminars.
The best & last seminar I went to was at a church that referred to grief as tear soup...everyone w/a loss has their own pot of tear soup
& it's totally theirs to deal with...
referring to the fact that everyone's timeline & how to deal is different....
It was very touching seminar & helped a lot.
They had a balloon release at the end...to signify letting go of the grief...
it was a great experience.

I never thought I would get married again.
The guy I married is a few years older than I am & had never been married.
I feel really lucky & he treats me great!
He is one of the nicest people I know!
We will celebrate our 3rd anniversary in June
