Grocery brands you just love!

We also love the Alexia brand potatoes. We love all of the different varieties - they definitely don't taste like frozen potatoes. The only other things we are "brand loyal" to are Duke's Mayonnaise & Frank's Red Hot hot sauce.

I sorta think it's all three. It just seems to get stains out better with out a lot of extra care, we like the scent and it makes our clothes softer and less wrinkled coming out of the dryer. We tried cheer a while back and after 1 large box I could see more wear in our clothes. We have TRIED to be happy with other things but have just decided it's not worth it. We buy a big carton of the powder at Sams and we used a little less than a scoop so its not so bad.

Wonder bread. however I dont buy it at the grocery store,no way is it worth paying 2.00 and up for a loaf, but we have a bread outlet that I can get it for cheaper and stock up and put in my freezer.

Neutrogena lip care and hand lotion.

Duncan Hines cake, brownie mixes.

Gotta give kudos to Wegmans brand yogurt! I like it ALOT better than the bigger name brands. I buy it every week!

Country Kitchen Canadian White bread. We have a Country Kitchen bread outlet nearby, so I rarely pay full price. I also really like Life cereal. The generic version just is NOT as good. Believe me, I've tried!

I also love Silk almond milk, and the dark chocolate flavour is a great treat.

I like the President's Choice products which are sold in the Loblaws/Zehrs chain of stores here, especially the "Blue Label" ones which are supposed to be healthier (and sometimes are). They are definitely cheaper and there's a great variety of products. I like the sweet and salty popcorn and the peanut butter filled pretzels (but try not to buy them too often because I know they aren't healthy for me).

Love Daisy brand of cottage cheese and sour cream. I am also a loyal Pruex user and an Angel Soft bathroom tissue user!

This is a hard question. I'm brand-loyal to few things. Almost everything is acceptable to me under any brand:

I wouldn't eat mayonaise or margarine of any brand -- disgusting products both. I prefer Peter Pan peanut butter, but will accept other brands. Ditto for catsup, eggs, spaghetti sauce, popcorn, milk, bread, and dozens of other things.

Some things are "borderline acceptable"; for example, soup. If I know I'm mixing it into a casserole, store brand's fine, but if we're eating it as soup, I'll pay a little more for Campbells. But I dislike Progresso, which costs more, and I won't buy it at any price. I usually have both name-brand and store-brand in my pantry, and I'll choose based upon what I'm doing with it.

Diet Coke is one of my must-haves. I don't drink that much of it, but Diet Pepsi or off-brand is not the same. I only use Tenda-bake pancake mix, which isn't all that easy to find; I 'specially like the stuff with maple bursts, but my kids like blueberry. If I make a boxed cake, it must be Duncan Hines -- though Betty Crocker makes good stuff in other categories. And I always have Bounty pick-a-size paper towels.

I can't think of any other examples.

Some of the store brands are even made by the same company. I live in the same city as a sugar factory and there was an article about them in the news paper. In the background of the picture (behind the name brand sugar) there was Wal-mart brand sugar rolling down the line :rotfl:

But as for store brands, I accualy CRAVE Meijer's pancake mix

Another vote for Duke's mayonnaise!
Also Heinz ketchup and Tide.

Wegmans brand yogurt, especially the Pina Colada....so rich and creamy! And .40 each!

Heinz ketchup, Hellman's low fat mayo, Oscar Mayer turkey cheese hot dogs, Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta, Cottonelle Ultra toilet paper, Brawny pick a size paper towels, Kleenex antiviral tissues, All Free and Clear mixed with a small amount of Tide Sport for deodorizing, Resolve laundry pre-treat.

I try not to picky about most stuff, but luckily the brands I am picky about are pretty easy to pick up on sale and find coupons for.

I tried Bar Keepers Friend for the first time and :lovestruc I let something boil over on our glass top stove when it was new probably 5 years ago and could never get it out until BKF. I think I will be cleaning everything with it this weekend! :rotfl:

I use this to polish my copper pots. I have a set of All Clad copper that I've had for many many years. I like to hang them on the potrack and look at them when the are shiny. My family members cook in them and get them all messy looking. Barkeepers friend brings them right back to shiny again.
