It's been a while so I'm rusty, and now I read about Dizzy Dolphin to make it more confusing. First, what is the DVC discount on the Disney-grocery order sheet?? It's not shown anymore. In the past, that has made it more economical to go the Disney route, if we're just ordering staples (breakfast mostly). GG has never come out as a better deal, but I'll look again. however, has anyone experienced Dizzy Dolphin and can remark on service and cost? Thank you in advance.

For me, Dizzy Dolphin was coming in at same price as Garden Grocer. I'm in Canada and can't use Instacart. I always go with Garden Grocer. I find them to be the most convenient.

I have used GG in the past and was happy with the service. But with the minimum needed for no charge delivery, we decided to try Uber last trip, first Uber experience ever. From the Boardwalk, it was appx $6 each way to the Publix at Celebration, so no delivery charge plus tip, and no bell services tip to bring to the room. We were at Boardwalk for 10 days so bought enough to make breakfast daily and much cheaper soda (want caffeine free diet) and beer and snacks. If you are up for an hour or so away from your vacation, you might enjoy getting out and saving a little money.

GG works out the best for us. We fly to Orlando and only occasionally rent a car. We usually meet the minimum requirements for a delivery. The convenience is wonderful and I know we're paying extra for that, but our time is worth something too, especially during vacation. And we've always been very pleased with the service; no issues at all. When we do have a car, I head over to Publix or Winn Dixie. We eat a fair number of meals "at home"; breakfast for sure and often dinner. We haven't tried the other services. Fortunately, GG is a good match for us and we've seen no reason to change.

I can't even get the BLT/Contemporary grocery form to load from the DVC website. What a pain. It had been a 10% discount which is why we were going to go with Disney this time...maybe I won't. It used to state the discount at the very top of the form. Thanks for posting this question.

^ an update to my earlier post. I was able to open a different resorts grocery order sheet. The 10% discount was listed on the bottom of the form.

We have used GG in the past. Our last trip, we took an uber to a grocery store. Loved being able to shop sales and pick out exactly what we wanted. We ubered back as well. Round trip was under $25. It did take a couple of hours, but we loved getting exactly what we wanted and we saved over GG prices.

It's on HWY 535 (Vineland RD) which is about a 15 min drive. Here's the address: 3250 Vineland Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746
Worth the Uber or the drive IMO. Lots of Disney stuff too.

Thanks.

Based on the web site (but knowing it could be wrong), it appears the closest one where you can use the Walmart Grocery Pickup is located at 550 US Highway 27 Clermont FL 34714. Does that makes sense?

Yes- it's not "far" but it's not close to Epcot. HWY 27 is accessible from I-192 past WDW. You then must go north quite a bit. Clermont is at least 20 min north from WDW. You can get to it from I-4 too but it's longer that way.
Uber to 535 is probably a better option quite honestly.

Our Publix instacart experience was good. We received an initial text about 90 min prior to delivery that "Armando has begun shopping for your order". A while later, a text indicating something we ordered was unavailable and we were being refunded. My wife was able to immediately choose a replacement and we received a confirmation that the new item had been purchased. We then received a 10-15 min "heads up" on delivery. He arrived about ten minutes prior to our scheduled time of 3PM. He had to see my wife's ID and key in the DL # and expiration- presumably for the wine. We later noticed that the apples were red delicious vs. the requested Fuji. That was the only error. A survey later asked about our experience and we related the error. A follow up email informed us of a credit toward our next order. So overall good. I guess had we not been able to receive/respond to the "out of stock" text we might have been short an item. An earlier post mentioned the ability to list alternate selections when ordering. Probably a good idea.
