Gringott's Lockers

Just got back from a short stay this past weekend, and I have to say the lockers for Gringott's were INSANE!

Saturday was more crowded, but the TMs seemed to manage the area better, telling people to just have one member of your party go in at a time. It was chaotic, but manageable.

Monday, however, was nuts! There was a large man bent over using one locker and a TM right behind him assisting another guest so I couldn't get past them. No biggie, I'll just wait a moment... a lady tried to SHOVE her way past me, squirming between my husband and I (we were getting two lockers for everybody's stuff). Um, NO!

I have never seen anything like it! There MUST be a better way to manage things... Forbidden Journey is so much better since they moved the locker area and Velocicoaster was great how they have the lockers with one side for putting your stuff in and the other side for getting it out.

Gringotts and MIB locker situations were insane on my September trip. More the former than the latter. But they really need some more organization. Changing them up a bit wouldn’t be a bad idea

For the lockers. I have a plan. Go for the less crowded area or at least try. Don't stop at the first one.

Also if you have a large party appoint one person to be charge of the lockers, not every person of your party needs to be in there. Forbidden Journey used to be the worst. Then they added some lockers outside that look much more spaced out.

I got shoved against the wall in the old Forbidden journey locker section so I understand

I think Gringott's is probably the toughest locker area now and yes, I would recommend a locker farther in away from the crowds if possible. I try to do that with all the lockers and one person goes in only.

I'm looking forward to the new FJ lockers. There was nothing worse than finishing the ride (which could feel warm in places), maybe feeling a bit woozy, dealing with the moving walkway getting off the ride, clumping down the stairs and then being herded into the locker room mob, only to be followed by the crowds in Filch's. Add in the FL heat and it could be challenging at times. At least it's cooler inside the Gringott's "cave" itself.

OP I totally get it. We were there in Aug of 2019 and those lockers were so crowded that we literally couldn't move. This was pre-Covid and I vowed to never deal with those lockers again. I bought a crossbody bag that converts to a 3 prong waist pack. It works great for my family. I wear the waist pack on all of the rides that I ride. I don't do Hulk, Velocicoaster, or Rip Ride, so I hold my family's stuff while they ride those. No more lockers!
