In the thread about the Sci Fi Drive In, travlnman1 mentioned that he was able to order a triple decker grilled cheese sandwich at the Sci Fi Drive In even though it was not on the menu. How often are items available even if they are not on the menu? I am especially wondering about grilled cheese. My daughter is a notoriously picky eater and she will often not like a item, such as macaroni and cheese, at one place even though she might like the same thing someplace else. The major exception to this is the grilled cheese sandwich. So, any information about restraunts that serve grilled cheese would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I am very new to the Dis Discussion Forum and I had noticed that people will frequently right DD for daughter or DS for son. I am curious, what does the that first D stand for. Dear, Darling, maybe Dastardly?
Thanks,
Bill
