Grief for a 16 year old......

More {{HUGS}} for Jake and yourself, Joan. Having known the story for a couple days already, my eyes still filled with tears when I read:

I figured he was in a kind of shock the other day and, the 'let-down' of emotions would happen some time. Jake IS a GREAT young man! He'll be back to that happy, loving, laughing teenager in no time! eek: )

Oh Joan, how very sad I don't even know what to say... my thoughts and prayers are with all who loved the coach and your son as well. You should be proud of that young man.

Oh, Joan, I am so sorry. The tears are dripping now as I type this. What a tramatic experience for Jake, I can not even imagine how this is effecting him. I have always guessed he was a strong young man and this just proves it. My heart goes out to him and the coach's family. {{{HUGS}}} my friend.

Thanks for sharing some poignant moments and thoughts, Joan, Jake is a good boy indeed, instilled with compassion. So glad to have met him earlier last year during your visit, a good young man. Best wishes for Coach's family, and all his kids he coached, he will be missed.

I thank you all for your care and concern. It is most appreciated. Not only by our family.. but also the Coach Q's family. They are having a difficult time dealing with the sudden loss of a wonderful man. Your prayers are welcome and well received by both families.
