Welcome! There are lots of good people here that can help with just about anything. If you've never stayed at the Fort, once you do you'll be hooked for the rest of your life. I've been down there with my parents, sister and her family plus mine a couple of times. We stay in an RV plus a tent. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere plus it gives the kids plenty of time to wind down.

Hi everyone, We have been to disney more times than I can count, however I just book the FW cabin for Nov.25 thru the 28th. I am really excited to try a new hotel. Please I would like to hear from other families that have stayed in the cabins and let me know all about them...


Our Vacation cast of characters:

15 yr old son (hard to please age)
19 yr old daughter (she is excited we are looking at venues for her 2009 disney wedding)
20 yr old future son in law ( He is the most excited about staying in the cabins, came as a young boy with his family and loved it!)

Welcome and you need to have dear wife redo her math ... her sign says 1+1=2, but in your case it looks like 1+1=5

Welcome! We're going to the Fort in June '08 too! I'm SO excited already. I'm going to be a mess once it gets closer! Have fun planning!

I personally have never been to Disneyworld in June but have several friends who have.

Two things:
1: Make sure you have plenty of sunblock and a strong AC wherever you're staying.
2: This may be no big deal to you but it is to me. "Gay Days" is generally around the first week or so of June. I would prefer to not have my family there at this time. Not sure when exactly you are going in June.

Anyway, have a blast!

By the way, sfd38. Where are you a firefighter? I've been with Raleigh,NC for five years now.

Just south of you. Freddie Lynn is teaching D/O Pumps to us .I just finished Meth. Ed. Instructor @ Benhaven . Tramp was the teacher and he said that was his last Methodology class....

That's fairly coincidental. Freddie Lynn was our training chief when I was in the academy.

I think almost every firefighter on the east coast has heard of Tramp Dunn.
