I was gonna wait until February for teh next cycle og greenban POLLS, but DVCLiz got me thinking......And much as it is for Gaston....That is dangerous indeed!

So, will you buy at AKL?

How many points?

I'm buying 250 Points as 5 - 50 point contracts. Why? 50 Points is the smallest Disney will finance, otherwise I'd buy 10 -25 pointers. Why? Easier to give to my kiddies when I'm part of the Circle of Life, (Simba, you have forgotten me!), and they sell at such a nice premium over 100 pointers!

For us it will depend alot on the theming of the Villas. Not very into the theming of AKL so most likely would not want to stay there more than once if the theme is similar.

Don't know if I'd be able to talk my brother into this one(as we co-own) because he kind of started leaning towards the BWV as our first add-on when we visited last October.

We are getting 100 points. I will probably do two 50 point contracts to make it easier when we give them to the kids.

AKL is a beautiful resort and I bet the villas will be too. We're looking forward to staying there but don't plan on an addon.

I hate to be a copy cat Greenban but I'm looking at 250 ( 5 - 50 point contracts) also. I'd want to be able to get 5 nights no weekends in a 2 bedroom concierge every year and that would do it in all but peak season. Actually 245 would do it I belive but I'll round up.

Will be staying at BWV in May and will visit AKL to get a feel for AKV and the ongoing construction. Will also consider another 25 point contract for AKV when I'm there.

I hate buying sight unseen, but this one may need 11 month reservations for club/concierge one-bedrooms during peak season.

Well, I was thinking 180, the same number we have at VWL. But maybe I should consider 200 just to have a nice round number. I like the sound of those 50 point contracts for being able to gift them in the future...

If I buy 2 50 point add ons, will I still get the same incentive of the $8 off or does it have to be one contract of at least 100 pts? I like the idea of the smaller contracts.

If you buy them both at the same time and titled the same, it should get you the incentives.

Aaarrggh. I don't know! The point charts look veeery veeery tempting, as do the artist sketches. Still, I am concerned that I won't be able to get VB/HHI in the summer down the line if I don't own there. I'll wait to see what incentives are offered.

My answer to this poll is now incorrect - I said "other" thinking we were getting 180. I called my guide and asked for 4 contracts of 50 each so we're getting 200.
