Green Valley Book Fair

If you'll be in or near Virginia in the next two weeks, the Green Valley Book Fair is open. Its located off interstate 81 in the Shenandoah Valley, near Harrisonburg. There are warehouses of new books for sale, publisher overstocks mostly. There are tons of childrens books, last seasons bestsellers and everything else. The prices are great, most books are in the $4 to $5 range, some up to $10 and kids books as low as 1.25$

The book fair is only open during specific times of year, 9am to 7 pm. The remaining dates for this year are

July 3 - 18
Aug 21 - Sept 6
Oct 9 - 24
Nov 26 - Dec 18

We love the Green Valley Book Fair. I've been going for about 15 years now. I used to teach and got lots of books for my classroom there.

I need to try to get to this one. I missed going this spring.

The GVBF is wonderful! I loved going there when my brother was going to college in Bridgewater, VA.

also a great place to do holiday shopping!
