Green Bean Casserole

Does anyone have the recipe for the green bean casserole that has French's Onions in it? DH really wants this for Thanksgiving but I don't have the recipe for it.

I never wrote that recipe down because it always seems to be on the can of French's onions. I know it was green beans mixed with cream of mushroom soup. I think I put the French's around the outside of the casserolle and topped with a little shredded cheddar. YUM!

The recipe is on the back of the French's Onion can. But here's mine:

2 cans of green beans, drained
1 can of French's Onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk (I fill the mushroom soup can 1/2-3/4 full)
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all but 1/4 can of the French's Onions. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for about 25-30 minutes (I look to see the soup bubbling). Place the remaining onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

I love green bean casserole.

1 can (10 3/4) oz Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 to 1 tsp soy sauce
Dash of pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans (I use thawed frozen green beens)
1 1/3 cup French's Fried Onions

Mix soup, milk, soy, pepper, beans and 2/3 cup of the onions in a 1 1/2 qt casserole

Bake at 350 for 25 min or until hot

Stir. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min longer.

I made that for my husbands fortieth birthday party and it was gone in no time. I bought the stuff to do it again, and my kids didn't like it!

They said I want the real green beans, why is this junk on it!

It's on the can of soup or beans I think. I don't care for those onion things. I use the real stuff instead...beans, sauted onion, mushroom soup, and slivered almonds. Yum! It's GREAT!

(The almonds go on top instead of the onion things.)
