Green Army Guys

My son loves the green army men from Toy Story. We have multiple lego sets with them and many green army men figures. I know once in a while I have seen one of these characters near toy story mania.

Are they still there and are they anywhere in the parks? Do they do anything except come out once in a while? Are they in any parades?

They are definitely still there. Saw 3 of them wandering around a month ago while we were there. I think that's really the only place to see them.

You can usually find a couple hanging around near TSMM in DHS

We always see them at HS over by Toy Story, literally every trip. Usually shortly after park opening.

Saw 2 of them by TSMM on Feb 1st, probably around 2:00.

In December, they were wandering around Toy Story Midway Mania as well as the area where Mater and McQueen were. I doubt they will be in the back any longer, though.

We love toy watch the army men interact with everyone. They are so much fun!

Usually 2-3 most the day off and on.
A few weeks ago we were very surprised to find 5 of them out together.

Several years ago my niece worked at DCA, her area was not far from the afternoon parade route. My nephew was stationed in Hawaii and had just returned from a deployment in Iraq and had stopped in Cali to see Kim on his way home. They both watched the parade and as the Green Army Men went past him, they took time to stop and salute him. He came home kind of dazed by that interaction, it was pretty darn cool! I know I was really touched by that acknowledgement of his service, they found him even though he was not in uniform that afternoon.

On one visit--can't remember which--they were out in the parking lot when we came in. They were having a wonderful time barking orders at guests, getting them lined up to board the trams and commenting if their parking was not up to par. It was ALOT of fun.
