Just FYI Lara the Water Park is very "chlorinated" and has been known to set off DD's and I's asthma out of the blue. I think they use a lot of chlorine and because it is an enclosed space it may affect us more? I can't remember if that is an issue for your son, but if it is be prepared with all his meds and a nebulizer. Also the food there is not great, overpriced and service is awful. There is an IHop and a Chix-fil-a just up the road that are better bets.
But it is a ton of fun. Enjoy the water park, check out the kids craft room. There is also a fun little puppet show and a bedtime story. They will give you a schedule when you check in. There is also a big
Crocs kiosk area right next to the Water Park entrance! Mostly Beach Style, pick your shoe and strap color. All sizes and pretty much every Jibbitz they make! Including a ton of Disney.
There is a game called MagiQuest that your kids will see (you can't miss it!). They are probably a little young for it but the kids do enjoy getting a magic wand and waving it around. With younger kids I often see parents just buying one wand for them to share. It is about $20 for the wand which gives you the access to play.
We love going up there and your kids are a great age for it. Enjoy! If you have any other questions about it let me know.
Oh, just remembered. Not sure if they are still doing it but they used to have waterproof digital cameras in the Gift Shop. It was about $30-40 to rent it and you take the camera back when you are done (or it is full!) and they put the pictures all on a disk for you--that is included in the rental price. It takes pretty nice pics and you can even take underwater ones. It was well worth the price. But I can't promise they still do that. It wasn't well advertised when I did it so just ask in the gift shop if you are interested.
