Great video for kids!

Anyone else's kids have these Sing along Disney videos with clips from the parks?
My little guy got the water one for Christmas (my sisters and families had been in WDW and done their Xmas shopping there). It's cool because it has shots of the WDW resorts, BB and TL.

For my son's 1st birthday this weekend (Aug 14th - can't believe my baby is 1!!!!). My other sister got the DL sing along video for him! So funny because I was telling DH the night before that I want to buy this video for Joshua when we are at DL in February!! And the next day he gets it as a gift and I had never even mentioned it to my sister! She bought it in Mall of America I believe.

Anyhow we watched it last night (more me than my son!) and it's better than the DL planning video. You get wonderful shots of tons of rides! It's so cool! And songs from the rides. Great video!

I'm posting from work and don't have video in hand. I can check the video over for more specific info if need to. They are Sing Along videos. The lyrics are at the bottom of the page so the kids can sing along with the characters and kids in the video.

The beach one (can't remember the exact title but they all have Sing Along in there) shows kids dancing and singing to beach songs on the beach at the GF, BB, TL. The DL video is great with shots inside the rides with kids singing with characters to songs like IASW, Zip a doo da, etc.

Sure you can buy them in DD. Not sure where my sister bought my son's. She was on holidays in Minnesota and bought it down there. I will try to remember to ask her exactly where.

We have the Disneyland Sing A Long Video. My kids love it. We watch it plenty before we go to WDW, and when we come back. We bought ours at the Disney Store. It is great to see the characters and the scenes from the Magic Kingdom. They love it!

We have "Beach Party sing-a-long" and "Sing-a-long at DisneyLand", and others which I can't remember the exact names of...Animal Kingdom, Happy Haunting (Halloween), 12 days of Christmas (at Disney World) and Camp-Out (Fort Wilderness). They are great, DD5 has watched them for several years now. I do believe they are getting more difficult to find though. Great songs, she loves the characters vs. a cartoon sing-a-long. Definitely a great thing to do prior to a trip. I'm sure they're available at your local library for borrowing.

We have had Beach Party since before our trip to WDW back in Feb and 2.5 yr old son is just now watching the Disneyland one. It was great for prepping him for his first trip, along with the planning kits dvd (and later Where Magic Lives dvd). When he saw the castle for the first time he just lit up. It also helped prep him for the characters, though the ones not on the video still scared him. He had no problem walking right up to Mickey and the ones on the video.

The best one is the Sing Along Disneyland Fun. It shows a bunch kids doing rides and lots of Disney music.

I bought mine from Toys R US, but I have also seen it at Wal-Mart and on Amazon.

It is great if you have little kids because it prepares them for the "life size" characters.

i just got mine in the mail this weekend! i got 5 of them (camping, beach, disneyland fun, haunted mansion, and christmas)from ebay for just over $20..including shipping---

my kids love dancing to them...

Disneyland Fun
Campout at Walt Disney World
Flik's Musical Adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom
Beach Party at Walt Disney World
There is also one with Mickey and the gang at the circus, a Christmas one and a Haunted Mansion one but the names escape me right now. These videos are great--we used them to help prepare our youngest DD for her first trip to WDW when she was 2 years old. They show the characters interacting with kids. (And they are great for grown-ups to cure the "between Disney trip blues")

I've gotten a couple of the Sing-A-Long videos
at Farmer's Markets & Flea Markets (Paid 25c!).

DS loves them, so I keep my eyes on the lookout
whenever we're out at those places...

We ahev the ebach party and my kids love it! We have been watching it often these days, they both are so excited about the water parks.

We have the AK one but they aren't as fond of that one.

Neither are we. It's the one we watch least in this house.

You can get most of them at target, wallmart or toysrus for around 6$, what a great deal.

DD loves them and has since she was 18 months old.

We got the AK one last time we were at WDW (one of the harder ones to find) and it is a great one. There is a lot of orignal work in it, fun songs and great footage of the park. Don't miss that one.

Belive it or not the DL one is the best for park footage (Disneyland fun). I really wish they had made one like that for WDW but at all 3 parks (beach party stays more at the resorts and water parks.)

The Christmas one dosn't have much park footage, but is fun for Christmas. Their is a cricus one also, not WDW, but lots of fun too.

unfortunately our ToysRUs had none to be found
when I went in last week on a whim.

And $6 is pretty reasonable, too!

I searched at Wal-Mart, TRU, and Target for these in our area with no luck...guess where I found some??? Once Upon a Child! We got the Disneyland one and the Waterpark one - both $3.50 a piece! That's my new place to buy videos, they had a ton. I also got a couple of Bear in the Big Blue House ones and a Rollie Pollie Olllie one.

I agree, these videos are great!

Just a side note, my kids didn't like the Flik video at AK, so I put it up on ebay a couple of years ago and I sold it for $25!! I couldn't believe it.

That is nuts! I got it at WDW for $10 and have seen it on amazone for that much too. It is amazing what people will buy on ebay!
