Well, as a kid I always used to say 'abominable' whenever possible, because I knew in my heart that when I said it everyone would shout 'snowman' inside there heads. And it is fun to say. A bomb in a bowl. Haha....

One time I accidentally used "Gobsmacked".

It's one of the best ever!! I say it and get the looks. I don't care. I hope it catches on in the US!!

I read a lot of British Mysteries and watch BBC -sometimes I find myself wanting to use expressions from those -that people here in GA aren't always familiar with.
One time I accidentally used "Gobsmacked". The person I was talking too thought I was crazy and I felt foolish.
