We were down over pres week. (by the way, never again!). It was so crowded.
I was wondering if we had any chance of a win, since there were so many people. Does Disney give out the same amount each day?
If so, then your chances are better on less crowded days. Anyway, we saw a few people with dreams. Soarin, they took a family in the back way and let them up to the front of the line. They were the family of the hour. Everyone clapped and they rode the front row. It was a good one,since the wait for Soarin that day was 110 min. They were approached as they were checking out the wait time kiosk.
We saw a family with a golden fp good all day at AK. They were getting lunch at Pizza Forest and the husband was given the award at the counter while paying for the meal. His entire party got one. That was also a good day for it since, they ran out of FP for EE and KS by 12:30.
Then, we were given one.
As we walked through the FP line at Dinosauer ride, the CM approached us as we entered and told us we were awarded a dream as the special family. He took us down on the elevator and we rode the jeep all by our selves so we could get a picture with just our family. We were given a dream award gift certificate.
To top off our trip, we returned home last night and in our mail was a signiture request form from the post office. It asked that we pick up a pkg. there from WALT DISNEY! I went to the post office this morning and the pkg was too small to be mickey ears
(won those about a month ago). It was a dream lanyard!!!
What a way to keep the magic going, after coming home all bummed out that we left FLA and it's great 80 degree weather.
