Yes, you could send your dish back if it was not to your liking. I just found that it would have added to the time that the dining already took. We had the late, 8:30pm seating, so on most nights we finished, at the earliest 9:45pm. We were at a table of 8 and I noticed that on one of the nights, 3 people had ordered the halibut, and all three only ate a few bites. I guess most guests, at that late hour, don't want to add additional time for the meal.
Yes, I agree that taste in food, is subjective to a point. But if you have dined at the restaurants at Disney World, say Kona Cafe, LeCellier, Boma and the list goes on.. you will notice a SUBSTANTIAL difference in the preparation and quality of the food that is used in the dishes on the Wonder. THAT is my point. The quality of the food wasn't as good, eg. the filet wasn't overcooked on the Wonder, it was just a poor piece of meat. Stretchers put in the scrambled eggs at Beach Blanket buffet - so that you could hardly recognize the taste or texture of scrambled eggs.
Now, for those who desire a blander menu, The Wonder Menu provides that. Each night you can choose a NY strip steak, salmon or grilled chicken that is prepared without spice and is served with steamed veggies.
But Disney lovers have come to expect excellence from Disney (as well they should) so I guess my dissapointment in the food on this Wonder Cruise *May 1-4, was because of my previous experience at the parks and on the Magic.
Thanks for everyone's input. And BTW, could someone direct me to the online survey for Disney Cruiseline???
