Great Schools Help

I am thinking of relocating to North Carolina next year right before my daughter starts high school. One of the most important things I am looking for is a rigorous, safe high school. I have started researching on the Great Schools site, but I find it clunky to use. Also, I would like a site that lists how many AP courses a school offers, how many sudents go on to higher education, etc. Does anyone know of another school comparison site that is a little easier to navigate and/or has more of the type of info I am looking for?

I used the Great Schools site and relied more on the parent comments, to be honest.
Once we narrowed down an area we got the "stats" from the school sites themselves. They all list them.
I then looked at the District rules, regs, AP stuff...

I finally settled on a district that allowed AP classes to be taken without pre-req's. Meaning my dd is able to take Pre-ap classes (excluding Math), without having been in an "honors track".

My dd loves it. She is a freshman. Good Luck with your search.
