Great Resort Rates on Southwest!

I'm away from the Dis for a week while I take dd to Cali for gymnastics, we did DL for 1 day but I missed the amazing deals for our August trip!! $200 a night for a 2br at SSR would have been amazing!!

Can anyone tell me how to add the names of my family members to the reservation? The reservation is in my name and I have listed there will be 4 people in the room. Do I just add them when I get to Disney?

Thanks for the help :)

Good question since I have booked under my name only w/4 people as well. That's the only option Orbitz gave. I assume that since this is a "room only" ressie, Disney doesn't need the names of everyone on the reservation. However if this was a "package" deal through Disney...then names/ages would def be needed.

I have booked thru other companies on our last 2 trips and when we get to check in they just ask the names of the other guests. Then they still print out their Keys to the Kingdom cards at that point. I, too, booked this deal thru Orbitz, so I assume it will be the same again.

Is it possible to book the room through travelocity for only 2 guests and then add a possible third once we get to checkin?

I just got CBR for $73 for 9-23-10 :cool1: Ever since the low rates last week I have been checking everyday, finally a lower rate today on travelocity.

So keep checking :thumbsup2

Now I can't decide what to do. Dates are Aug 16-21.

I have free dining booked at Pop. 5 nights $1275. Four Disney Adults. Includes 2 day tickets we will use 2 save 2. That is $600 in tickets.

I also have booked same nights at Boardwalk Villas. $950 for a 1 bedroom (Southwest). I figure food and tickets we'll spend another $800. So we pay about $425 more over all and do not have the 2 tickets for later. Or about $725 for this upgrade. And kids will be on the pull out couch.

I have never ever priced out BWV.

Thoughts?

The BW villas are wonderful. It is a huge upgrade from POP in my opinion. I've stayed at both, and think that the villas are worth the extra $$. I wasn't happy with the soundproofing at POP and it was so busy and LOUD!

But, if you won't feel good about it--don't do it. On vacation, I always want to feel good about the value of what I'm getting for the $$.

Paying $950 for a 1 bd for 5 nights is awesome. I also got in on the deals (I'm doing SSR studio) and I'm thrilled with the savings. This is a great opportunity for you to try out the villas!:goodvibes

You'll probably never want to spend what it would normally cost to stay in a one bed at the villa's, I would definitely take advantage of it. :thumbsup2 You could always stay at Pop in the future, but unless there's another computer glitch, you'll never see pricing like that again at BWV. ;) I'm just so bummed that I didn't jump on it for Sept, when I had the chance. :sad2:

If you book through one of these other sites, can you still use the 180+10 days to book ADR's?

Pretty certain the 180+10 feature is only available to guests who book a MYW package (with DDP) through Disney.
No, room only will give you the +10 as well.

But this is my first non CRO reservation so I do not know if it will give you the +10. For sure you would have to call, because you would not have the reservation # for online. It may depend on which CM answers your call.

Now I am getting worried about my reservation.
My confirmation from SWA just says "BWV" but does not specify 1-bedroom.
I really don't want a Studio.

I'll be calling in the morning, but I was wondering if anyone else's confirmation email has more details on it. (Looking up reservation on their website gives me the exact same info, or really, lack of info)

I stand corrected...I was apparently given wrong info in the past, go figure! If you have a WDW resort confirmation number through CRO, you are eligible to take advantage of the 180 + 10 rule.

This too is my first non-CRO ressie so I'm a lil nervous. I would like to have the option to upgrade at checkin but am worried that AKL will not allow it since this ressie was not booked through CRO.

I have a Bay Lake View in Contemporary and it doesn't specifiy that I am in the Towers section. It just says Contemporary. Let us know what you find out.
