I called the ME number to add it to the trip and they said that all of the information was in the computers. If true, then shouldn't you be able to do a room request? It's worth a try. Let me know if it works.
Just booked Animal Kingdom Lodge on Southwest website for 9/7 - 9/20 for $86 per night standard view, $90 per night pool view or $111 per night savannah view!!!![]()
I'm sure this was a massive price mistake and you may have benefited from their price error. There's no way that AKL would be that low....it's cheaper than a Value Resort. Right now, for AP holders, the room is $139.20 per night for a standard view room during your dates. About a month ago I posted rates on travelocity and they were rediculously low (search my name to find the advertised rates). Sure enough, someone called on the rates and Travelocity stated it was a pricing error. They adjusted the rates immediately.
Congratulations on getting that awesome rate. If this would have occurred with Disney, you would have most likely gotten an e-mail advising of the pricing mistake. I'm sure Southwest won't do anything about it as it would probably make them look bad in an industry already plagued with issues.

What makes me wonder about it was that Orbitz, Travelocity, and SW all had the same pricing. Maybe one would have gotten it wrong, but all three? On my printed confirmation it read, "Special Pricing." Well, I guess it was special pricing--very special.
I went to Travelocity just now and it shows POFQ and CBR as $73 a night under sample rates but when you put in your dates and try to book it's 178 per night.
Just wondering if anyone is back that booked one of these deals.
We just got back last night! Booked Poly garden view for $133 a night from the 15th-24th through Orbitz. We had NO problems. ME was already set up for us. I had called an made a room request as my mom is handicapped and we prefer to stay on the ground floor and the info was already in our reservation when we got there. On my ressie, it said 2 beds than w/ a twin. We did get the twin/fold out couch. I do not know if this is standard in Poly rooms but it was there. Absolutely, no problems- I was thrilled!
I'm just back from our trip. I booked three nights at the Contemporary and seven at the Yacht Club through Southwest.
The only problem that I ran into was that we weren't on the list at the Contemporary guard shack. Other than that everything was great! I was a bit worried about what kind of room we'd get with our cheapo rates but we had a room on the 10th floor with a dead center Bay Lake view at the Contemporary. At the Yacht Club we were upgraded to a lagoon view corner room! It was at the end of the longest series of halls that we've ever seen but the room was gorgeous-very large with two huge windows and a balcony. We could watch Illuminations from the balcony and see Spaceship Earth through the window while lying on the bed!
We paid in the $120-$140 range and I was thrilled with the whole experience.
Just back from 5 nights at the BWV.
Everything went great, we were assigned a 1 bedroom pool view on the first floor. Also we got daily maid service and they left more of all the consumables every day.
I still can not believe we only paid $168 a night for that unit! I'll be keeping an eye out next year for sure!
A million thanks to the OP![]()
