A co-worker just returned from the last Magic Western cruise, and of course I had asked her to save the Navigators. As I was poking through them, I noticed a great policy: During family shows in Rockin' Bar D, it is all NON-SMOKING. If we attend, it will be so nice to not have to hurry to get a GOOD seat in non-smoking (much of the "non-smoking" area is literally right in front of smoking, so people at the table behind you will probably be puffing away). Maybe if this policy is successful, they will ban smoking during all the shows in there. I realize that it is a bar and that cigarettes, music, and drinking go together. But events like the 70s Party, Magicquest, and Match Your Mate last an hour at most...surely people can restrain their tobacco urges for 60 minutes, and if not, they can step out and smoke right down the hall in Sessions/Cadillac Lounge. When there is just music/dancing going on, then it can be opened up to smoking again. Most entertainment venues are non-smoking these days, and I'm really happy to see that Disney has taken another step in that direction.
