GREAT NEWS! Sugar Loaf Concierge at the GF isn't "light" anymore!

Thanks so much to Cris (a moderator here) for the heads up! As of July, Sugar Loaf Concierge is now serving alcohol! They will also be serving late night cordials and desserts (the same as RPC at the GF). I am so excited!!! The IPO office sent me an email earlier today (it was in my Spam folder) notifying me of the change as well. The email was addressed to "to those of you over 21-HaHa!" Glad to see IPO has a good sense of humor. ETA: this is the exact quote from GF IPO "The Sugarloaf lounge will mirror the Royal Palm lounge in food service. So yes they will serve alcohol during the day and cordials from 8-10pm!"

We are booked in SL for Nov 29-Dec 6. Can't wait for our trip!

Well, prices are already out for 2006 with no big increase. The following lists the 2006 Value Season Rack Rates with Room Tax for the various Concierge (I only did Standard or GV as Sugar Loaf does NOT have a premium view~ i.e. can't see the lagoon or Castle). All of them serve alcohol (except CR 12th floors). As you can see most are STILL cheaper to SL.

AKL Concierge $485.03
BC Standard Concierge $485.03
BWI Concierge $485.03
*CR Tower 12th Floor $518.48
CR Tower 14th Floor $574.23
GF Sugar Loaf Concierge $529.63
Poly GVC $490.60
WL Concierge $412.55
YC Standard Concierge $485.03

*Currently no alcohol served

Based on this, I would think the prices at Sugar Loaf would remain the same. If they do go up, it would likely be in 2007.

That is wonderful news. I remember reading about this a year or so ago (too long for this old broad's brain to remember accurately ) but it never came to fruition. I forgot to mention that since I am over ~21~ years of age (boy, am I ever!), sleuthing for lounge libation info should go unnoticed by the GF staff. I learned how to do that stuff in Spy Class 101 many moons ago, or maybe that was Sorority Girl Beer Bash 101, I get so easily confused at this stage of my life.
