For a wonderful change of pace had an amazing experience with MS this morning!
Had gone online to check for a Boardwalk View studio room that I’ve been stalking as we’re missing a middle day in November for one of our guests. I saw it available at 7:48 AM but when I went to book it wouldn’t let me pull my points. I couldn’t figure out why. Called MS exactly at 9 AM and got an agent within 1 to 2 minutes. Turns out I was 14 points over my 50% borrowing limit which was the glitch.
At that point the room (which had gone away) was showing again and she was able to grab the BW view for the one night we were missing. I ended up purchasing OTU pts to book the room. In addition that same guest had a different view (pool/garden) for the last night of their stay because I couldn’t get a BW View despite being on a waitlist for a month etc. . Nothing was showing as available. The CM asked me to hold on to see what she could do. I waited about 5 minutes. Then she came back and said they could get me that second BW View night to extend & complete the reservation. She let me know it would be at least a 10 minute wait as she had to have a supervisor complete the transaction.
Sure enough, they were able to get it done. I have no idea where she pulled that room from as it wasn’t showing on the site from my end. This entire process probably took 30 to 45 minutes. Bottom line is this CM truly went above and beyond this morning. I’m not sure if it was because we have 4 different rooms booked that week (including a GV) for a large family trip, or because I’ve been a member for 20+ years, or whether I just got some pixie dust or dumb luck. But I’m feeling very grateful!
