Day 3
I wake up at 6:30 am I guess cause I couldn't wait to get to the RPR and about 7:30am DW and DS's get up and we make sure we got everything and head down to the front desk and check out and then out front we grab a cab and headed over to the RPR.
When we pulled up to the front of RPR and got out and started in the wow factor started in and thought DW was going to cry and we went to check and the guy checking us in as so helpful.
Come to find out the room I requested was a nonsmoking room and would be awhile before it was ready and Iask if there was anyway I could get a smoking room and he told us yes and if we took it that one was ready and we took it.
So he told us how to get to the room and wouldn't you know it just my luck the very last room on the floor (2455) what a walk but nice room anyway

Looks pleased with the choice of hotel I picked for the end of our trip

Not so pleased here she thought she forgot something at the Doubletree

After setteing in we decide to go over and start our day at IOA and I think it was just startin to open and man was there a crowd.
When we went in oldest DS asked what do we ride first dad and I said I didn't get to ride it last year so I riding it now The Hulk.
He told me he didn't know if he wanted to ride it and I asked my wife nd she said she didn't know either and I called them chickens and said oh well I willride it by myself.
They gave it on more try into talking me out of it by saying I thought you were going to ride this with Barb and I said I can ride it agian and finally they gave in and said ok.
We used our room keys ( the express pass ) and was on in like five mins and all my wife could say is it scary and I told her wait and see and youngest wouldn't cme so he waited outside for us.
After the ride was over I had 2 Hulk junkies cause they loved it
After the Hulk we all walked over to spiderman and rode it and swear that ride just gets better everytime we ride it.
After a little rest and a cold drink we head over to toon lagoon where my DW and DS's want to ride Popeye's and I hold all the stuff and I decided to have a litle fun wth the water cannons and was on my last quarter when I see DW and DS's raft and yes I was mean and shot the cannon at the and it was a bullseye but got a tern talking to followed by I would have done that to you
we walked through jurrassic park and just looked round way too busy and the boys wanted to go to suess landing and when there oldest DS wanted to ride skyhigh trolley go figure he loves the thing
After that we rode the cat in the hat and then they went to one fish two fish and told them to go ahead I would sit this one out.
By this time it was about 4:30 and DS's was so busy riding everthing they could we hadn't even ate lunch so we decided to head over to Nascar grille and eat.
Oldest ds had the brickyard burger ,yongest ds had the luckydog , Dw had a philly steak sandwich and I had turkey wrap and it was pretty good atleast I heard no complants other than we had thier nachos with grilled chicken added to it and the chicken was hard
After that we went back to the Hotel ad explored a little andwent to the room and about 9:30pm DS's started complaining they were hungry so I took them to Jake's bar and grille at RPR and man was service slow but the food was pretty good and after that we just went to the room called it a night so that we could get an early start the next day.

And look how proud she is! Good for her!!



btw...I love the Suess Trolley ride too...I'm the only one who asks to ride it when we pass by it....

i ride all the rides at the parks and do all the shows.
when i would take the boys with me, we had to compromise a lot and therefore, i would be standing with the odd guy out not on the ride.

then i got smart.
i left everyone at home and go solo now.
and, i do all the rides and eat ice cream for breakfast.

what the family doesn't know, won't hurt them

Day 4
After getting up early agian I ask everyone what they wanted for breakfast and they said the same thing that they say every morning and that is nothing lets get to the park.
So off agian to the water taxi and by the way my youngest DS loved the boats and noticed the names on back of them.
Once agian the parks were very busy but not worried cause we had the fotl passes so first thing my oldest DS wanted to ride was the mummy and this time me DW rode it with him and if he had his way we would be there all day so it was off to the simpsons to ride for the 3 rd time cause my youngest DS loved it .
After walking around and enjoying all the little stuff we decided to eat at Louies and had some pizza and cold drinks and we thought the pizza was great.
Bellies full a rehydrated it was about 3:00pm we decied to head back to the RPR and hang in the room .
after resting awhile youngest DS wanted to go to the pool and Dw went with him and I soon followed sitting there in my jeans looking like a dummy but its all good its a vacation who cares.
After just walking around the RPR grounds and of course we have to see the gift shops we head to the room and relax and then went to go to IOA since we never seen it at night and loved the place at night.

So after a little goofing off with the family they were tired and we headed back for the room and ordered some flippers pizza ate and watched a little tv and then to bed to get ready for the next day to meet Barb and Robert.

Great report, Lawrence! Looks and sounds like you had an awesome time. Love the pictures, and I HAVE to get my picture taken at the Marmaduke thing when we go. My dog enthusiast friends will love it. Especially since my big dogs have TERRIBLE leash manners after four years of running like crazy on acreage instead of going on walks like we used to.

I think we need to plan a trip sometime during the summer and brave the crowds so we can get some of those beautiful night time pics.

Day 5
As usual I am up before everyone and decied to be the first to take a shower and make me a cup of coffee and I didn't mention it before I love the coffee maker but had to add water to the coffee cause it made one strong cup(talk about getting caffine to wake ya up wow ) so after veryone gets up and gets in their showers we decide to head over to IOA and just walk around and take it all in before the meet with barb and robert .

About 1:30pm we headed over from Jurrassic park to meet Barb and Robert to ride the hulk.
It was so crowded DW asked if I seen them an I told her there see is cause I noticed Bubba right off the bat and we went and introduced ourselves and after huggs and shaking hands we all left our thing with Barb's mom and headed to rid the hulk and I rode in the same row with Barb and roberts DW and DD but had to change seats with roberts DW cause that was the bigger seat and roberts DD asked i I was scared and I said no the other seat was too small
Ater the ride Barb and Robert and the rest decide to ride The Hulk agian but me DW ans Barbs DH sat that one out.
Well after that we all decide to head over to DD's

So we finally get to DD's and Barb shows us all a shortcut and while going thru the castle my youngest DS was shaking like a leaf and Barb o him calm but the closer to getting to the ride on fire it wasn't DS I had to worry abut DW got all upset and started crying and asked her what was wrong and she said she was scared and I told her eveything would be ok and she calmed down until she noticed she broke the necklace I brought her the day before.
well once we got on the ride go figure I gt a rgular seat and coldn't buckel it so the attendant had to do it and let me say I couldn't hardly breathe but toughed it out and me and DW made it through it.
after doing fire I decided to set ice out and watch evryones thingand let Barbs Dh ride with them and if I didn't mention it is a real nice guy and asked if I wanted anything cold to drink before they all went on the ride and I said I would be ok and I thought DW would sit ice out she wanted to ride and did
After they rode ice we all took a pick together

After DD we went over to the mystc fountain and listen and watched while my DS's and other kids got sprayed with water and then after awhile we all did ou hugs and said our goodbyes and hope to meet up with Bard and Roberts family agian real soon.
It was about 3:30 and we decided to head out to get something to eat and I said to DW tht maybe we should give Jimmy Buffets another chance since e had a bad experiance last year and she agreed.
We got seated pretty quick and ordered something cold o drink and some valcane nachos to share which is always good but took a longtime for our other food to come like 45 mintes or longer .
Dw order some kinda shrimp dish and loved it oldest ds orded a cheese burger and I ordered the hickory burger and of course younges ds order something he thought he woul like but didn't the fish tacos and I was so full that I split my burger with him so I thought all in all we had our best xperiance until Igo outside and noticed the server short changed me by $ 10.00 and was too tired to argue so we headed back to the hotel for some rest.
About 8:30pm we though since it was our last night there we would head over to the studios and watch Universal 360 and me DW an youngest DSwent on over a oldest DS said he would meet us over there and he finally made it at about 9:40pm just 5 minutes before it started and we told him better late than never
Can't remeber if I posted these so forgive me if I did

After 360 since we weren't night club people and had 2 young boys we head back to the hotel so we could hit the parks for the final time the next day since we didn't have to head to the airport until 3:00pm the next day.

Glad to hear you had a good experience at Mville this time.... We ended up eating there twice out of 6 nights at Universal..... I blame my BIL

Well oldest DS just got back cause he went to a friends as soon as we got off the plane and yongest DS has to wait till he goes back to school to give his to her.
Thats what I thought she was crying about was the necklace but come to find out she was terrified about riding Dragons but once she rode it she was fine and liked it and bragged when she got home how she faced her fears and I said maybe because Barb gave you that little nudge
