Great deals at Joanne's!

I stopped by Joanne's today, and they have a lot of scrapbooking items at 75%off. Chirstmas Stacks 12x12-4.97, 8x11-1.97, 4x6 Matstacks-2.47. They also have various kits 4.97-6.97, Creaing Memories scrapbook albums; 8x8-2.47, 12x12-3.67.......They actually have a nice selection of things marked down in their regular scrapbooking section. We do have a nice, large, Joanne's here, so I'm not sure what other locations will have.

Man, I really wish we had a Joann's near me I did just find out they're opening a Hobby Lobby in April though. I've never been to one. But boy did I ever love Joann's when we lived near one...

Just went today to Joannes. I found a pack of assorted letters for $5, of course I couldn't see all of the papers and fonts, but I thought it was a good deal. We have a very small store and the selection is not great. I did not see any albums that were marked down and very little christmas items at all. But I did re-sign up for there flyer, you get it in the mail and it always has a coupn for 40-50% off one item.

You people have got to quit posting these deals. I avoid Joann's on purpose because I already have enough scrapbook supplies to last me until I die, but does this stop me from buying more if I find a great deal - of course not.

As for those Xmas stacks, they are so worth it! I cleaned our store out (4 packs of 12x12 and 2 of the 8.5x11.)

But could someone please tell me why there was not one single red in the packs, but 10 burgandies?

You were lucky to find those C'mas stacks...our store was out of them by Thanksgiving. Happens every year. They'll put them on sale & they never have them...regular sale, not the clearance ones.

But I have to say that I'm one to prefer burgandy or any darker red than just a crayon or "Christmas" red. I've often noticed that the darker colors seem more popular. Maybe that's why the packs were made that way?

Well, talk about deals!!! Our Hobby Lobby must be cleaning out all there stock of stickers....I got Micky and Minnie, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eorye, Pluto, Goffey....a page if each for 89 and 99 cents!! Even got some like a die cut one and also rub ons, and boarders and corners and well, I felt like why buy the ones for $4? These look just as good. People must not shop our HL they had a good selection this past week and yesterday several left, and additonal selection. Hey did you all know you can go to the web site and print out a 40% off coupon? You'all probably do though.

I agree, the burgundy would go great with the dark green in the packs, but almost all of my photos of DW's decorations are Christmas red. So, I will get some red and just play.

I really hate this about packs or pads of things, like vellum quotes. They aren't cheap and what if they're stupid or ugly. It seems like more things are like this now too, or is it just me?

I totally agree. I now go through packets of paper when I can before I buy, or else I will get stuck with lots of unwanted paper (orange paper with purple spirals taught me my lesson. I wanted the other pages...)
