I agree...their terms are very strict...definitely do not book through them if you have ANY chance of changing your dates.

Don't cancel it...you'll lose your tix! I spoke to Mitchell in ticket services...he seemed to know the most....doesyour will call voucher from travelocity have specific dates? Ours has the exact dates of our trip.....read every word slowly on that will call tix....

The voucher is dated Sat 11/23- Mon 11/25 but we are arriving 11/21 to YC before the Poly stay. The tickets are no good if I can only use them for 3 days of a 5 day trip! I'm freaking out!

Mitchell did say Disney would be able to access the tix 3 days prior...maybe that is why trav. said you cpuld use them earlier....but I'd be sure to check with Disney. Mitchell said the prob they have seen is people who bought tix for oct, but changed dates and showed up in sept. He said guest services have worked with thesepeople to help them. Let me know what you find out.....

Did trav sell you a 3 or 5'day tix? If they sold you a 5 day tix that isn't even valid for 5 days is just flat out wrong and you should be able to fight that....

Thanks, that makes me feel a little hopeful. I'm still on hold and whatever they tell me, I'm going to have them email me a confirmation of what they say, good or bad. Might need it when I get there or to convince Travelocity to fix my reservations. It would seem like a keystroke is all that is needed to change the dates on the voucher.

So the answer is no -you can not add dining when you arrive at hotel if you book through anyone except Disney? I would like a yes or no. Sorry I would just like to know- we are booked through disney.

I think you have a huge, valid argument if the tix are 5 day tix, but they only have the dates listed as 3......but that's just my two cents

I think so.....just make sure, if you cancel, you do so within their parameters....I think like at least a week in advance so you don't lose one night's cost....

I posted earlier that we booked with Travelocity. I did indeed find a cheaper rate at Cheap tickets but the ebates rebate was less for cheap tickets. However, travelocity will price guarantee so I went ahead and booked through ebates at travelocity.

I spoke with Under cover tourist today using the mousesavers's link (A MUST newsletter email subscription!) and no one can touch their prices. She said she is constantly amazed at the unnecessary rates people are paying for rooms when we can get them so much cheaper elsewhere. We need to do our homework she said. I know that is her opinion, but it sure did save us money. Our resort reservations and tickets will link with the My experience.

Regarding the dining plan, I just went to another wdw site where they have a very user friendly excel sheet. I researched the menu prices of everywhere we are eating and plugged in the numbers and honestly, I will do better NOT having the dining plan. We just aren't fancy eaters. However, I know with tax and tips that number will go up. Even if it is just a little over, it won't be enough to pay the higher room rate to get the 'free dining' because in essence, it really isn't 'free'. We were going to be paying through the nose for it.

My original plan was to spend 3 days at Universal and 2 days at Disney. I still have reservations at Royal Pacific. So if worse comes to worse, I will cancel my ressie for YC and spend the first half of our trip at Universal as originally planned. Live and learn.

Probably a good idea to do it in email, then you can print it out (assuming they say yes ), and take it with you. I sent a few emails last night and got responses very quickly....hopefully you will, too. Let me know how you make out....good luck!
