Great DCL Souvenir beach bag on eBay

Hi, Everyone

I saw this classy DCL logo striped canvas beach/tote bag in the Wonder's gift shop my last two cruises but didn't buy it because it was around $45 dollars and I'd already run up an obscene amount on shipboard credit...Several of these totes have just appeared on eBay running anywhere from $16-25 before shipping. I have a feeling a batch of them ended up at the Orlando outlet mall Character Warehouse because there have been none on eBay and all of a sudden five or six are up for auction from sellers in the central Florida area...with new ones being added every couple of days. I know several eBayers hit the Character Warehouse and then sell the stuff on eBay...got a lot of my cruise souvenirs that way. So just in case anyone is interested--there you have it. I had to bid on three auctions before finally winning one!

I saw your post and it raised my curisity about these outlet stores. I searched on the internet and found a site that listed various temporary locations for Character Warehouse stores. It even listed opening and closing dates for each location. Unfortunately all the temporary ones listed are already closed. It also listed the permanent location in southern california. I called them and the guy who answered the phone was nice enough to list all the stores currently open and even one opening next week in my area(northern california). It looks like they have temporary locations all over the country, it might be helpful to stay in touch with them to find when one is coming to your area!

Hey cali4niacruisin -

I also live in Northern California - Where is the outlet opening up here? With Christmas just around the corner and our cruise coming up next May, this would be a great time to buy some extra Disney stuff.
Let's face it... Can you really ever have enough?

Hi tpseller - There is one in Vacaville, at the outlets on nut tree road. That one should be there for about a month. One is supposed to open in San Leandro at 1933 Davis Street in about a week. There is one that will be closing Sunday, according to the person I spoke to, in Atascadero at 2040 El Camino Real. He said the deals are very good just before the store closes, but it is too far for me to get there. He said they typically keep each temporary store open for a few months, then close it and pop up in a new place. They seemes to have very specific information, so I am sure you can call and get exact dates for openings and closings if you like.

We live in Petaluma - so the Vacaville one is the closest.
My husband works right by the Davis Street one though, so I may have to go over there too!

We are on the May 8 Western - bummer we are not on the same one!

We did the 4 day Wonder last year in early May -and we are really looking forward to the 7 day this time.

I will fill you in on what great stuff they have once I get by the stores.

There is a permanent (at least for the last several years) Character Warehouse in Myrtle Beach, SC. My last visit to it was this past May.
