It was an album premiere and they gave everyone a CD of 5 new songs by Newsong.

Chynna & Vaughn were great!!!!! Billy Baldwin was there (married to Chynna) and he sat right in front of us (we were on the 2nd row thanks to my sister & niece who got there early and got seats). DH talked to him a good bit during intermission.

Bluetree - great new group from Ireland!!!!! DS really liked them a lot. Love their song "God of this city".

Newsong of course was outstanding!!!!!!! They have so many great hits they could sing for hours and hours on end. Russ Lee is back with them and shared a powerful testimony about what he and his wife had been through about 2 years ago when it was found that she had cancer.

They all did a great job and we had a blast!!!!! They all stuck around and took pictures, signed autographs. DS went to get a picture with Russ Lee and Russ Lee pulled DH aside (DH was not wearing anything military related or to distinguish himself like that in any way).....but Russ said to him "your in the military aren't you?" DH said yes National Guard. Russ said, "your scheduled to be deployed?" DH said well our unit is slated to go next year (if nothing changes they will be mobilized in November 2010 and heading overseas in 2011). Russ said I want to pray for you and prayed for DH right there. Let me tell you this....during the concert they did the song "Rescue" from their 2005 "Live Worship - Rescue" project. During that time I was singing and praising God and my heart was saying "Lord, no matter what we face in the months ahead, if DH does go overseas.....all I need is You". How very powerful to have been standing and praying that in my heart and then have the Lord place that upon Russ to pray for DH and his (us) family.

It was such a blessing, the whole concert. DH said when we got int he car "I needed that concert".

These guys will be heading out soon on their Christmas Tour and then Winter Jam tour, if you get a chance to see them you won't be disappointed!!!!!
