I just booked my airfare on Delta for $169 roundtrip from Washington, DC Dulles to Orlando in October. The rates are good from now until November. Just weeks ago, the rate was $252!

It looked like US Airways and Airtran were also matching, and United was around $210.

I used the Travelocity Fare Finder, which is great. Go to www.travelocity.com, and type in your destination and the airfare amount at which you want them to notify you if the fare gets that low. I was notified every time the fare went under $175. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but it saved me hours of research time.

Hope this helps someone!

Four more months to my trip!

I just booked Delta for Dec. 23 - Jan 3 for $271.50 .... DIRECT flights each way!!! :smooth:

They're for my brother and family... he's doing WDW with us for the very FIRST time, and I was really pleased to find such a great fare for him.
Orange County airport would have been closer, but they had no direct flights, and the price was $297.00. San Diego would have been closer too, but they didn't have any direct flights either, and their tickets were $537.50 per ticket!!! UGH.....

Anyway, I helped them buy them last night, and saved them over $1,000.00 on their tickets!! :teeth:

Congrats on your fares..... that's FANTASTIC!!! :)

Henry-how do you get to the Travelocity fare finder? I went to their web site but can't figure out how to have them notify me when fares drop. Can you tell that I'm new at this:rolleyes: . We usually drive but would consider flying if we got great rates. Thanks!
