Going first time solo in May and got a great rate with Air Tran...75.00 one way ...direct flight....going again with my family in Aug and got rate of 83.00 one way....direct flight....I will have to take my own luggage to the Magical Express bus....but I think I can handle that :lmao: for the price:cool1:

You don't have to be on a participating airline to have ME handle your luggage to the resort. Just put those yellow tags on and your bags will magically appear in your room. Regardless of airline you fly.

It's the return to the airport that if the airline participates in RAC (resort airline check in) that will be the deciding factor if you have to lug your bags back to the airport yourself or not....

GREAT AIRFARES.....ENJOY!

I had seen those, but my dilemma is that we live 3 1/2 hours away from that airport, our closer airport is 45 mins, so not sure if it would be in our best interest to drive that distance. Have a great trip, though.

...Where are you in NY? It is about a 2 hour or so drive for us. We got a really good deal on Airtran flights one year though so it worked out well for us. At that point, we always flew US Air out of Syracuse but the prices were getting very high. We actually added a 4th person and still saved over $200 total on our flights.

...Now, we have been flying out of Albany on Southwest on our last 3 WDW trips.

OH, I was thinking Buffalo,:confused3 because I see AirTrans flys out of Buff & Rochester. It's actually Buff that is 3 hours away from Utica (where we are), Roch is about 2 hours (?). Anyway, I am starting to look at SW out of Alb also. Hoping to go in April! We just did Jetblue out of Syr for the first time and it was great being on that NONSTOP flight! So thats what we are looking to stay with!

Waiting for flights to open up to Nov and keeping fingers crossed! We have flown BUF but ROC is only about an hour plast - and I am willing to make the drive to save a few hundred $$!! Still beats paying Toronto prices through the nose!

:) Okay...LOL We are in Ilion so same distance as you. Look for a good deal with Southwest. We really like them and it doesn't take too long to get to the Albany airport. Did you sign up for the Dings? We normally get $49-59 flights from a Ding.

:) We haven't tried Jet Blue yet...seems like I alway find high prices on them when looking. We also book nonstop flights on Southwest, earliest one to MCO and then the latest one back to ALB. We wanna make sure we get as much Disney as we can! LOL

:) If you need anymore Southwest info, let me know! I'm sure you're enjoying the snow as much as we are. Actually, I'll probably be in Utica this afternoon as long as the weather cooperates.

If you are flexible and willing to fly mid week, you can often get $99 for the direct flight from SYR. For example, I just put in 4/24 to 5/1, and came up with $99 each way. :)

The flight back is 12:50 pm. They must have changed that, because my flight in late March leaves MCO at 3:30 ish.

I went on SW this morning and did a quote for everything, RT NONSTOP air, 4 nights at CBR, 3 day base and the DP for 2 adults, came to $2150 approx...sounds high, dont you think? I also checked JB but they were high, too. Another thing that makes me nervous about SW is the no assign seats. :sad2: Besides the fact I've never been to the ALB airport so have no idea where it is. I'd find it if necessary, though. Be safe on that drive to Utica! Thanks!

I've been doing Thurs-Tues and it still comes up high on JB. But I've been doing around the kids vacation week, so I'm sure that thats why. Well I'll just keep hoping! :goodvibes Thanks
