We're planning to do the Behind the Seeds and Savor the Savanna tours on our upcoming trip and I just wanted to be prepared on what to expect with respect to gratuities. I found this response but it's from 2019 and I'm not sure if it applies to savor the savanna since that's a meal: https://plandisney.disney.go.com/question/proper-tip-tour-guides-413044/

Has anyone been on either of these tours, and, if so, are the CMs allowed to accept tips? If so, was it cash only or did you have a check to sign at the end?

Thanks!

We did Savour in April...wonderful time..expensive for what it is..but guides told us no tipping required...never saw anyone on the tour tip so we did not.
Now you will get lots of different responses when you ask about tipping. So watch out...lol...
I also did divequest that week...solo..no others with me..but for me to tip the 5 staff each would have been xrazy...they were just happy to have down time.
Thats what each one said.

Years ago, we did a fishing excursion out of Fort Wilderness.
It was pretty pricey even for that time so it did not occur to us to tip on top of that.
After joining this message board, I have wondered if we were suppose to tip?!

Never even occurred to me to tip for WDW tours but I’ve definitely tipped other non-Disney tours we’ve done. We have the Up. Lose with Rhinos next month….should we tip??

The first tour that I took many years ago (Keys to the Kingdom) the guide said that they weren't permitted to accept gratuities. However, about 5 years or so ago, our guide on a culinary tour was accepting tips. I asked and was told that the policy had changed. So I've been tipping the guides ever since. I just tipped our guide on the "Walt's Main Street" tour in Disneyland in May.

Just did Keys to the Kingdom and have done Caring for Giants and Behind the Seeds. Never even thought to tip on any of them.
What I did do after Keys was submit a cast compliment for our guide, who was excellent, since those are very beneficial for cast members to receive.

Over the years, we’ve done Undiscovered Future World @ Epcot, Keys to the Kingdom @MK, the WDW Christmas holiday tour (twice) & a Walk in Walt’s Footsteps Tour @ DL (twice). Never even crossed our minds to tip or saw anyone else tip.

we did wild africa trek and were told tipping was not allowed
if we wanted to we could do a donation to the conservation fund
i also tried to tip the shuttle driver between jambo and kidani and was also told by the driver that he could not accept tips

This was us.... We did Savor The Savanna and Wild Africa recently, and made a donation. Also, since both tours were excellent, we went on the app and entered a cast member compliment.

Is there a site for all the tours? Someone mentioned a behind the scenes at the Vet hospital at AK?
TIA
