Gratuities for Tours? (Behind the Seeds & Savor the Savanna)

Is there a site for all the tours? Someone mentioned a behind the scenes at the Vet hospital at AK?
TIA
I found all the tours listed u dear Enchanting Extras in MDE (website). I don’t recall seeing a behind the scenes with a vet (but also wasn’t paying that close attention). How cool if there is!

I have never seen a vet hospital tour. They do offer Up Close with Rhinos (which I've never been able to snag!) and also Caring for Giants (elephants), but that's the most that I've seen.

The Cast Members for the Behind the Seeds Tour CANNOT accept tips. When I went in May there was a Guest in my tour group who tried to tip our tour guide and she had to refuse profusely as the Guest continued to try and get her to accept it. Also, a good rule of thumb is if the Cast Member refuses the tip, please do not keep trying to push it on them, it just makes the whole interaction uncomfortable for them!

Some years ago, before Covid, there was a backstage tour at AK that included a visit to the vet hospital. Unfortunately, that tour was discontinued after a relatively short time - I can't remember how long, but it was gone before Covid.

I wish it would return, too, because it was one of the most interesting tours we've been fortunate to enjoy. When we got to the vet facility at Conservation Station, the vets were in the process of amputating a crocodile's injured leg!

I tipped for sangria university mainly because I had add ons that I was charged for and the opportunity to tip presented itself. The two instructors were above and beyond as well. Behind the seeds I didn’t even think to tip same with keys to the kingdom. I also don’t ever carry cash usually only gift cards and a credit card there.

Our daughter was a CM in 2013 and she was told to politely refuse a tip. If a guest insisted (after 3 tries) she would take the tip and turn it over to her supervisor who would then take turned in tips a buy a pizza for the break room.

We tip about 20% for tours and usually get one "no thanks" before acceptance. If we can afford a tour we can afford a tip.

Ugg, that's just so awkward for the CM! Lousy of people to put them in that situation. Forcing a tip on a CM who will get fired if they keep it creates more work for them as they have to turn it in :sad2:

We did the Behind the Seeds tour and I asked when we checked in (not our guide but the person who checked us and gave out the name tags) and was told they cannot accept tips. I did do a cast member compliment through the app after the tour.

Totally! I get that some people might not be aware of the policy for cast members accepting tips, and that's okay, but to continue to "not take no for an answer" is hard to watch knowing how strict Disney is with that stuff.
