Hi there, we are coming in Dec. (37 days and counting!!!!) and I want to take my son here for a very special dinner. I'm having a hard time finding a "current menu" online. Does anyone know where I might find one? There is so much for Napa Rose posted, but nothing on this restaurant. Would an estimate of $40 each be accurate for meals only? I know they have extensive wines, any idea what the cost per glass runs about? Thanks for any info about Granvilles you can offer!

Granville's offers a basic steakhouse menu. The steaks are excellent. In my opinion, the decor the the restaurant is nothing special. $40pp is a bit low unless you order the complete dinner special which is $30 and includes soup or salad, smaller steak and potato, and dessert. Otherwise, steak alone runs $35, plus sides, starters and dessert. More like about $55 pp without drinks.

If you want a special dinner and you don't have your heart set on steaks, Napa Rose is a beautiful restaurant. Although its menu will appeal only to those who are adventurous when it comes to food. Good lunck. Tom.

Thanks for both of your replies...I have seen the menu on Mouseplanet from 2001, that's why I was looking for a current menu....

Have to tell you why we want to go to Granville's. In 1998 we went WDW and had the coupon from Rita Aero's guide that had a $50 credit at restaurants at WDW. We chose Gulliver's in the Swan Hotel....I, personally don't like filet mignon, but because we had the coupon, I ordered steak & lobster there....at that time my son was 8 years old, so he had a kids menu item and a "real vanilla shake", anyway, the bill was still about or over $100, but the coupon helped, and I tipped 25%. Long story short, it was the best steak I ever had, melted like butter in the mouth, and I never offered my son a bite of it......and he remembers this....Side story: my son went to the bathroom, got lost, and we had to call security as he never returned to the restaurant, I was freaking out!!!! (Such things can't happen at Disney!!!!) Security couldn't even find him......but he came back eventually, crying his eyes out, and lead by a bunch of Brazilian girls on a tourist function.....the waiter at Gulliver's was so jealous....such a scary moment, but funny to think back on now!

Anyway, he always remembers that I wouldn't offer him a bite of my steak (or lobster), so now that he's 13, I told him I'd take him to a "real Steakhouse" to make up for it....

We've been to Disney the last 5 out of 7 years, but have never stayed onsite. My best friend bought us 5 days at the Grand Californian for me losing 30lbs...(thank you Dr. Atkins!!!!) Anyway, it gives me some extra spending money to live like Kings this time, and at Xmas!.....we're used to staying in motels like the Penny Sleeper Inn, so, this is a dream come true!

Alas, why I want to take him to Granville's!

Though....my heart still pounds thinking about that much for dinner......and I like wine too!

That is a fun, cute story...well except for the getting lost part. I understand your frustration ate fingding a current menu for the Disneyland restaurants. Goinf to WDW is a breez with wdwig and the menus posted there. If you don't want to spend that much there is an Outback Steakhouse just down the road from Disneyland!!! ;)
