Grandparents....what are your favorites?

On our last trip we brought both sets of grandparents, one set in their 50's and one set in their 60's. Both rode everything we did except for the water rides (they weren't excited about walking around wet).

My dad's last trip was last April. He was 81 years young. Mom is in her 70's. That was the first year they didn't go on Test Track which was always a favorite for them. My dad had a difficult time with the boat rides. Getting down into and out of the boats was difficult for him.

But on Dad's 80th birthday, he rode 7DMT!

My parents have always enjoyed the F&W concert series. The only people watching they did was while eating a Pineapple Dole whip at the Pineapple Promenade.

Cherish those moments and enjoy the things you can all do together too.

This year, neither of them are well and they were unable to make the trip.

Sorry to hear that your folks aren't well. Thank you for sharing....I'm really quite excited about taking them. They will LOVE seeing the kids enjoy everything even if some are things they can't join in on. I was thinking 7DMT is such a smooth ride with no upside down or jerky turns....I might be able to get my parents on that one!

Oh, and my dad WON'T do Small World. No way, no how...not even if we try bribing with a Dole Whip or Mickey Bar...and DS is following in his footsteps

I'm curious why they won't do Small World? That's funny!!
