grand villa booking and waitlist question

Hi everyone,

We have enough points to book a Grand Villa at OKW this June
I had asked this board earlier when to start calling MS, whether day by day or wait to book all at once. It was suggested I call the 1st week of November to have MS look at the availablilty.....good idea so I called on Monday and found out that our preferred week has all days available except for 1 day which is smack in the middle of our stay. I also found out that our 2nd and 3rd week options were avaiable for the entire stay. So...here is my question... we would really like to go the 1st week, better scheduling for everyone and fewer points I'm just nervous about the 1 day waitlist not coming through. I would hate to have our entire party of 11 move to a 2bdrm/studio for one night and move back again the next day. So, do I go for the 1st week and waitlist for the day or do I play it safe and book the next week?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

I would play it safe and book for the 2nd or 3rd choice and waitlist for the whole week of the 1st choice. Pick a reasonable deadline in your own mind for when you need to commit to a definite week and by than hopefully the waitlist has come through.
